The major media still doesn't get it.
It's true, that in a nation of more than 300 Million citizens, (And a hundred million Undocumented Democrats.), 400 jobs is just a drop in the bucket. And that is exactly how the liberal media sees it.
On the other side of the argument, is the fact that anyone who knows a hard working blue collar man or woman who has lost their job to China or Mexico, understands how devastating the loss of even one job can be.
You liberals have your compassion for the things like, "The brown eyed spotted c*ck roach.", while real Americans, have compassion for the men and women who have worked hard to try to save little for retirement.
I don't like to curse, but let me just say something to the Major Media folks. SCREW YOU AND THE BROWN EYED SPOTTED C*CK ROACH YOU RODE IN ON!
And for the liberals who agree with the Major Media on this, SHAME ON YOU!

Funny how rightwingers ignore that 'minor' little

Trump will make job creation a competition.
He will recognize and praise these companies publicly and they will fight for the honor.
It's a beautiful thing.

Trump's not save nearly as many jobs as he claims, he's taken credit for them, not saved them.
If he was interested in saving American jobs he could: hire Americans to work in his properties, produce in the US the shit that he peddles, buy American steel to build his monuments...THAT would be impressive.

You do realize that he's not even started the job yet, right?
Ever had a boss that had that gift of motivating people? I have, there have been a few that I would move heaven and earth to make happy, and then some that made me not care whatsoever - like a guy who would tell small businessmen "you didn't build that", for instance. That would be a guy who has NO skills to motivate, only discourage.
Let's say this does take off and start a snowball of job creation - could you give him credit?
Never mind, forgot who I was talking to there for a minute.

I'm in favor of Trump trying to keep jobs here, and to bring others back.
But it is unfortunately true, that the highly publicized efforts so far, are actually BS, relative to the pretended ideals of the people touting them.
That is, in order to "keep" the infamous 400 jobs here (according to some sources, those jobs were never scheduled to go to begin with), Trump did what he does on his private business deals:
He gave away OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY, as a huge bribe to the company. In this case, it was our taxes.
If this continues, and Trump does continue to "buy" job retention, what he will actually be doing, is what most conservatives have complained for decades, was a "left wing liberal government give away" approach to economics.
We'll see. It might turn into one of the best comedies of modern times, if a bunch of people who THOUGHT they were hard-line anti-liberals, voted for, and praised continuously, someone who (similar to Reagan) uses old-style tax and spend liberal techniques to pump up the economy.

Trump's not save nearly as many jobs as he claims, he's taken credit for them, not saved them.
Looks like credit is due, "agreement with Trump", "result of the meeting", "positive optimism", "outlook has brightened"
Carrier Air Conditioner Manufacturing: 1,000 Jobs
First out of the block came the Carrier air conditioner manufacturing company. Late in November, Carrier announced it had reached an agreement with the President-elect to keep up to 1,000 jobs in Indiana, pulling back on plans to ship all manufacturing jobs to Mexico.
SoftBank Telecommunications: 50,000 Jobs
On the heels of the Carrier announcement, Trump met with SoftBank Group Corp. founder and Chief Executive Officer Masayoshi Son at Trump Tower in New York City. As a result of the meeting, Trump announced that the Sprint cell network owner was pledging to invest $50 billion in the U.S. and planned to create as many as 50,000 new jobs.
U.S. Steel: 10,000 Jobs
Next, during a December 7 broadcast of CNBC’s Power Lunch, the CEO of U.S. Steel Mario Longhi said that after the election of Donald Trump, he has “felt an environment of positive optimism where forces are converging to provide for a better environment,” which he hopes means he can rehire up to 10,000 employees who had been laid off.
IBM: 25,000 Jobs
A week after U.S. Steel noted its bullish outlook on the U.S. economy, computing giant IBM also found its outlook had brightened and reported that it expects to create up to 25,000 new jobs in the U.S.

You really need to do homework so as not to look stupid.
Carrier: Initially reported 1,200 jobs saved, reality 300 jobs saved that were never in danger of going anywhere anyway. FAIL
Softbank: Part of a deal that was finalized BEFORE the f**king election. FAIL
U.S. stell: "he hopes that he can rehire up to 10,000 jobs is still just hope. Credit where credit is due, not where we HOPE credit goes...Trump SHOULD have bought American steel, maybe some of those steel works wouldn't have been laid off. DOUBLE FAIL
IBM: AGAIN, hopes and dreams are hardly jobs saved. FAIL
You do have a lot of hope though, that's obvious.

No it is not OK. However with nafta bills shit. Steel for the most part along with other industries left. Need steel, try to find the quantity and type you need stateside. When it comes back as it will, no doubt he will use it and it will be cheaper than US steel in the past.
The other stuff? People said his hats made in China for instance?
WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump says he won't stand for it if it turns out some of his hats labeled "Made in USA" actually weren't made entirely in the USA.
The baseball-style "Make America Great Again" hats are indeed stitched together at a small factory in the Los Angeles area. But in a small sample tested by The Associated Press and an outside expert, at least one did not contain the specific type of U.S.-made fabric the manufacturer insists is always used for the hats.
The true origin of the fabric in that hat remains a mystery — whether U.S. or foreign made. It shows how difficult and murky it can be to verify something is actually "Made in USA."
Informed of AP's findings, Trump said any misrepresentation would be unacceptable. He said: "I pay a good price for that hat. If it's not made in the USA, we'll bring a lawsuit."

There is NO steel being produced in the US today? None?! And I'm not leading you, I haven't looked it up. I just find it hard to believe. And F**K blaming NAFTA, especially if there is metal being produced here. I REFUSE to drive or ride anything that isn't American. Truck's a Dodge and scooter's a Harley.
As far as the hats, yeah, I say labels for hats from China, but I'm not talking about his truckers hats. I'm talking about the other shit that he sells. Malaria's jewelry, Trump's ties, coat jackets...here
As far as a lawsuit for not being made in America, bullshit. If he gave the order that they were to be made in America, someone carried it out and they weren't, he'd be talking about firing someone. He KNEW where they come from. If he didn't, he's not the "leader" that he puts on.

This needs repeating!
You have hit it out of the park.
There is no doubt that other companies have decided not to move jobs, until they think they can slide them out of the country, without Trump blasting them for doing it.
They all want to just close their plant quietly, without anyone realizing what they have done.
Right now, they all figure to wait until Trump hammers a few other companies,, before they act. (As long as the people are listening to Trump, these guys can't screw the American workers.)
No doubt they plan to go ahead and move the jobs, but at least for now, they will stay here.
If Trump can get a business tax cut passed, and then get rid of needless regulations, and then get cheap energy flowing to our factories, these guys will stay here.
This is temporary, but if they had built the new plant in Mexico, the jobs would have been gone, gone, gone forever. If they rebuild the plant like they have announced, and if Trump can get the Republicans to work with him, we can keep our jobs for the longer run.
Trump better be ready to fight, because the Republicans hate workingmen as much as the Democrats do. Only a few of the politicians in either party really care about the people.
(Most of them care about themselves more.)
Yes he is doing it, his threats have saved jobs, by preventing other companies from out sourcing American jobs.
