She had a personality that you feel.
She was my grandmamma; the matriarch of our family; my confidante; my friend; and my advisor....
I will miss her........

Do you know that in all the 8 years that I have been on DH I have never "used" a true life/death situation as an "attention getter"?
I have never "used" a 'tragedy' divert attention from others to myself in hopes of having posters feel sorry for my predicament while I laughed behind my hand on this side of the screen at their stupidity in falling for the "game".
This is a stupid game that fakes like to play -- like shirkers of work who lay out of work and call in and say some family member has died.
In my opinion that tactic is the worst case scenario any one human being can utilize to get attention.
The type person who would constantly (and, yes, I mean constantly) use this BS excuse to make a thread on an internet dating site within an hour and a half of their "dear dead grannies demise" is one sick f**k and needs some major psychiatric treatment -- long-term, in-care.
Star -- I will be blocking your profile permanently in 24 hours -- and any others you use to make these "treading on human life" fake threads.
Do you know that when my husband died, I was corresponding on the internet with an "acquaintance" and when I said my husband had died that person "double-checked" my truthfulness by researching and locating my husband's death notices.
33 days after my husband died I told that same person that my beloved mother had died -- yep -- My honesty was double-checjed, again. This time the "person" actually sent flowers to my mother's funeral.
The straw that broke the camels back was when a person I was talking to on the internet "double-checked" my report that my beloved brother lay dying in an out-of-town hospital and that, as his next-of-kin, I was staying at his side at the surgical critical care unit.
Do you know what this asinine behavior taught me 8 years ago?
It taught me that no matter how true and honest a person really is there are always a bunch of lying, fakes and hypocrites who will use anybody and any situation for their own benefit.
May God have mercy on your soul.

I believe it is a female shame for anyone to make a false report about someone's health or death for the purpose of (on this site) getting a post total count.
The next thing is -- I received a random act of kindness from an unknown internet source once when I had a true family death.
I was going to pay forward and turn that RAK over to the next person but not when the claim cannot be verified.
And lastly, if your dear granny is dead WTF are you doing in DH arguing with me about it for? Shouldn't you be at the visitation & viewing right now?

Grmama funeral was today and the burial..... Last year, my grdaddy died..... It was 7 day before my grmama died....
She is in heaven with my grdad....my mother, and 2 aunties......

Oh really, Godsbutterfly ??? I have 5 grand children..... One is 13 yrs old, one is 10, one is 4, one is 2; and the other one is 8 mos old...... The 13 and 10 yrs old babysitting the other ones....... and they don't like it thou....... My daughter husband will babysit too...... He is a good father thou.......

My heart goes out for you, please accept my condolences for your loss.
I'm fortunate to have my oldest sister to talk to. With both parents gone, I also feel very lonely. I am having tears in my eyes as I type this.
I'm the youngest son of 6 children. 4 boys and 2girls.
My mother died June 19, 2016. She was 81. I'm 52 my father died when I was 15. I miss them both.
One of my sister's, Nancy is.the only family member I talk with or get together with.
My loneliness comes and goes. I talk to them. Maybe if they are thought of by us, they live on in our memories.
I hope you might try to think of your Grandmama having good times with you. This helps me.
Malinda....share your grief however you feel is good for you.
May you find that special someone

I had a dream the other night. My grandmother and I were holding each other and crying. She was a very special lady, as I know yours was. HUGS! I pray that you have dreams of your grandma too.
