I'm an American citizen, and when Clinton, Bush, and Obama were Presidents, even though I disagreed with several of their policies, unlike others, I never said "He's not my President". If you're an American, they are your President whether or not you voted for them. Right now the same is being said about Trump, just like they did with Obama, they say "He's not my President", and that is wrong. I don't agree with all the bills he wants to pass(some I do, though), but he's still my President. Anyone who is an American citizen and chooses to stay here, he is still your President. All the division we have witnessed in recent years by class, race, sex, etc, needs to stop! It's ridiculous! We need unity, not division. Instead, people are throwing tantrums like three year olds. Get over it! That's one of the main reasons the left lost! Don't let any President affect your happiness, life's too short for that. If we get ourselves so enraged over it, all it does is get us sick, it accomplishes nothing positive. And as long as we try and improve our lives, become better people, help others, maintain strong family structure, and be a positive influence, it shouldn't matter who was elected. Whoever is elected, we need to pray he'll be better than we think he is. Your thoughts? And be civil with your responses or be gone.

Trump is the presidential representative of America's raping, looting gangster-capitalist elite. The rest of us have no representation. The rest of us are merely forced by the great wealth and power of the gangster-capitalist elite to go along for the ride.

Trump issues orders to roll back bank regulations
By Barry Grey
4 February 2017
World Socialist Web Site
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2017/02/04/dodd-f04.html

Excerpts:

President Donald Trump signed executive directives on Friday initiating a sweeping rollback of regulations on banks and financial brokers enacted under the Obama administration following the Wall Street crash of 2008.

Trump’s actions target in particular the 2010 Dodd-Frank bank regulations and a Labor Department rule set to take effect in April requiring financial advisers to put the interests of retired clients before their own monetary rewards.

The billionaire president seemed to flaunt his promotion of Wall Street’s interests, signing the two measures after meeting in the White House with his business council. The council is chaired by Stephen A. Schwarzman, the multi-billionaire chief executive of the private equity giant Blackstone Group.

Among the dozen or so corporate executives in attendance were Jamie Dimon, another billionaire, who heads JPMorgan Chase, the largest US bank, and Laurence D. Fink, the mega-millionaire chief of the investment firm BlackRock.

“We expect to be cutting a lot out of Dodd-Frank because frankly, I have so many people, friends of mine that had nice businesses, they can’t borrow money,” Trump said during his meeting with the corporate bosses. He praised Dimon, who has bitterly campaigned against the Dodd-Frank law. JP Morgan Chase was fined billions of dollars in the aftermath of the 2008 crisis for multiple violations of bank regulations and laws, including fraudulent sub-prime mortgage deals that contributed to the collapse of the US housing market in 2007. A frequent visitor to the Obama White House, Dimon was for a time known as “Obama’s favorite banker.”

“There’s nobody better to tell me about Dodd-Frank than Jamie,” Trump declared.

Trump also had high praise for Fink, touting BlackRock’s management of Trump money for earning “great returns.”

Nothing could more clearly expose the farce of Trump’s pretensions to be a champion of the American worker.

Wall Street celebrated the attack on financial regulations with a stock buying spree focused on bank and financial shares. The biggest winners were JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Visa on a day that saw the Dow surge 186 points.

Trump’s assault on bank regulations is of a piece with his moves to gut all legal and regulatory restrictions on corporate profit-making. Since taking office two weeks ago, he has signed executive orders mandating the lifting of regulations across the board, removed obstacles to the construction of the Keystone and Dakota Access oil pipelines, and picked long-time opponents of the Environmental Protection Agency, occupational health and safety rules, and limitations on industrial and mining pollution to head the federal agencies tasked with overseeing these activities.

The White House economic program—including sharp tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, an infrastructure program that amounts to a tax windfall for private investors, a hiring freeze for federal workers, and historic cuts in social programs such as Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security—is the fulfillment of the wish list of America’s financial oligarchy.

Besides Trump, at least three multi-billionaires will occupy high posts in the administration, including Wilbur Ross, Betsy DeVos and Carl Icahn. Mega-millionaires will include Stephen Mnuchin, Rex Tillerson, Andrew Puzder, Elaine Chao and Gary Cohn, who gave up his number two post as president of Goldman Sachs to become the director of Trump’s National Economic Council.

Overseeing Wall Street as head of the Securities and Exchange Commission will be the longtime lawyer for Goldman Sachs, Jay Clayton. In addition to Cohn, other Goldman alumni include Mnuchin and Trump’s top political adviser, Stephen Bannon.

On Friday, Cohn told Bloomberg Television, “We’re going to attack all aspects of Dodd-Frank.” He absurdly accused the law of “shackling” US banks.

Cohn singled out two provisions of the Dodd-Frank law for particular attack. The first is the so-called Volcker Rule, which restricts the ability of federally insured banks to make financial bets on its own behalf, in what is known as “proprietary trading.” Such gambling, including with depositors’ money, played a major role in the collapse of the banking system in 2008. Wall Street banks, led by Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, have pushed relentlessly for the elimination of this provision.

The second action Trump signed was a memorandum instructing the labor secretary to delay implementation of the rule banning financial advisers and brokers from recommending to their retired clients more expensive investments for the purpose of generating greater returns to the advisers. A 2015 report from the Obama administration concluded that “conflicted advice” costs retirement savers $17 billion a year.

Even as Trump was issuing his executive directives on Friday, Senate Republicans were voting to repeal a rule linked to Dodd-Frank that requires oil companies to publicly disclose payments they make to governments in connection with their business operations around the world. Among those who lobbied against the Securities and Exchange rule was the new secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, in his capacity as CEO of Exxon Mobil.

This amnesty for corporate bribery and criminality reveals the essence of the Trump administration’s scorched earth campaign against business regulations.

The Democrats will do nothing to oppose these policies. Their opposition to Trump is focused on differences over US imperialist foreign policy, not opposition to his assault on the democratic and social rights of working people.

They know damned well if they try that BS elsewhere, they will be deported, hanged or beheaded. Let them go to Mexico and try that BS. Jail there is none too pleasant I hear.

Notice how they backed down when he won and not a single one went to a "white English speaking country". They wouldn't have their sorry azzes.

Let them go to Haiti and protest, where the people are suffering and extremely poor and hungry, with all that "protest" energy and do some good.

Too many denied double-standards going on these days.

I remember when Nixon was President, and there were tons of protests. The Republican Party regularly postured and spoke out, rather self-righteously proclaiming that no matter what, everyone should show respect for, and support the President as a matter of patriotic duty.

Then, of course, as soon as an opponent who they DIDN'T like was in the White House, those lofty principles went right into the garbage can for them, and we had the nastiness and vile behavior from those same Republicans, that we saw yet again against Obama.

I am a non-sectarian, when it comes to opposing childish, petulant, insulting nonsense about ANY political leader.

However, I am ALSO strongly against people who try to USE principles of good behavior, not to oppose rudeness, but to quash ALL criticism.

Yes of COURSE Trump is "my President." So was every other guy in that office, since I was born. I heard someone on the radio conducting a poll, asking whether or not everyone thought they should "give Trump a chance" or not. THAT kind of thing is worse than silly, it's unrealistic balderdash. It has nothing to do with reality. Trump IS the President. We don't have a CHOICE between "giving him a chance" or not. we only have a choice between protesting or supporting what he does (or pretends to do in most cases), or removing him from office or not.

Violent protesters rioting is what helped Trump win the election.

Just like any person, Trump is not perfect.
He is the first one to stand up and say " We are not going to take it anymore ".

The downward spiral has to stop.
Love him or hate him, just like the responsible parent.
It is for your own good.

@ CAFE- Her Central Nervous System is most likely like Swiss cheese, along with her liver. YIKES! Yeah, I seen that. Nasty Pelosi, was basically INCOHERENT, on CNN, the old lush! One foot in the grave, for sure. Reminds me of old MEME MAGpie up there and Sinohag! ^^^^^^You will never catch maghag/sinhag without a drink-wine in their hands and neither one of them have reproduced, thank God.

Trump doesn't drink like that, nor smoke. He isn't a lush like them, hence, why he isn't half dead looking, plus has energy, like a man half his age! Kudos to him, for that and neither does his children.

Unlike old Hillary, that has abused herself and others for many, many years and now she is reaping the consequences for the abuse! Her face is black and blue, from running into things, intoxicated, passing out. Plus, the Parkinson's-dementia doesn't help her a bit, either. I wonder if she ever went back and picked up her shoe on the ground, that was laying on the sidewalk, when she fell out! Sure isn't the first time, she always falls, the goofy, kankled witch. Especially walking up the stairs of a jet, or off of a stage! Word is that it has been ordered to start investigation on her. They need to get a Grand Jury going on that investigation.

Make America safe again, put Hillary behind bars where she belongs, and I am not talking about putting her behind bars, the kind of bars that she is used to. The kind of bars where her, HUMAH Abedin and Nasty Pelosi spend most of their time, lushing it up, on the tax payers dime.

Scandal-Ridden Democrat His Job! Latest Ethics Investigation Suggests He Violated US House Rules By… Michael Reed
By Michael Reed Posted on January 31, 2017

The political gossip during this past election cycle has centered around the corruption that has infected many of our nation’s congressional representatives and candidates for high office, Hillary Clinton and company being the most high profile politician so far.

Her most recent past sins, allegedly, are about misusing and mishandling classified emails through an unsecured server, among other things, but not ethics violations. At least not in the current go-round. She has, although, had accusations of ethics violations when she was a young lawyer involved in the Nixon Watergate investigation.

But there is another Democrat, who is now in quite a bit of hot water.
Rep. John Lewis. (D.GA) is the latest subject of an ethics violation investigation! This is, of course, after we found out that he is behind on paying his taxes for his luxurious DC townhouse!

UH OH, SHREK!

If people feel like the president is governing in the best interests of themselves and their families, and considers the concerns for all Americans, there would be no dissent coming from the majority of Americans.

It's not rocket science dude!

Now, the same party who’d ridiculed Trump on his comments about the election being rigged, started screaming that the election was rigged. They even advocated having the election repeated. They created mobs that burned and pillaged, stopped traffic, threatened murder, batter and rape of Trump supporters, and became the anarchists that the socialist dream thrives upon. They run like castrated pigs for safe zones and use diaper pins as their national symbol.

For you liberal lurkers and you half-assed fence-sitters, kiss off.

You had your big hurrah and now your party is over. For you staunch Republicans in office, don’t gloat so much yourselves. You’ve been put on notice by the American people that we’re fed up with all you bastards and if you don’t start putting America first, you do so at your own peril.

You might want to buy a copy of George McGovern’s autobiography and see how shocking and humbling it can be for a professional politician to have to try to find legitimate work once he falls from grace.

This election was pure, unadulterated AMERICAN. Hillary got beaten and America won the election. You can claim he’s not “your President” all you want, but unless you forfeit your American citizenship, YES HE IS! Go cry a river some place where they need water.

I will NEVER claim him as my president. I don't even consider him president. He's the clown that duped nearly half a country.

Republicans changed the rules of civility in this country so they could gain power, and now they want to act like that didn't happen. I appreciate much of what Republicans claim to stand for, but not when they have to drag our body politic through the mud to get it.

From the caucus room meeting where Republican leaders swore to oppose everything Obama was for, to their unprecedented refusal to advise and concent on his Supreme Court Justice pick (essentially stealing that seat), the Republicans have ushered in the new low in civic relations that you appear to have a problem with.

"Not my president" is jovial in comparison to "not American", "not legitimate" and all of the other pejorative labels that Obama had to endure for daring to be a black Democrat in the white house. What it seems Republicans want to do is be given all-due-respect after having burnt down the house to get it, and it doesn't work like that. The American center and the American left can't become a perminent bullied class in this country because one of the political parties refuses to play by the rules of statesmanship. That's bad for the country, no matter which party wins.

Donald Trump is my President and my girlfriends commander in chief. But just because I don't subscribe to the delegitimization of the office, doesn't mean that I've forgotten how we got here as a nation.

NYC, why didn't you speak up over the last several years when many of the conservatives here claimed Obama wasn't their President. Many here attack him and his family for years. Some still push the birther bullshit.

That being said, the whole not my president thing is pretty silly. If you're an American, he's your president. You don't have to like it or be happy about it, but he's still your president.

10 Crazy GOP Meltdowns After Obama’s Re-Election

3) Donald Trump (pictured) certainly showed the world how really juvenile he can be, when he went on a Twitter tirade upon learning that Obama would occupy the Oval Office again. The sore billionaire loser with the offensive comb over incessantly whined about how the election was a “total sham and a travesty…. We are not a democracy!” But do you think “The Don” hung out with failed GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney and his crew after the election? NOT! Supposedly, “Trump does not like to be associated with failure.” Well, karma is a be-atch and now Obama’s controversial critic is getting his just desserts! There is a petition through the site signon.org that urges Macy‘s to dump Trump and his branded goods from their advertisements and stores. Thus far, more than 607,000 people have signed the petition, with the million mark being not that far away. The petition, which was organized by attorney Angelo Carusone, has been signed by such A-listers, such as the singer/actress Cher, who grew tired of Trump’s political bellyaching and racism against the president. “Where’s my pen!”

Sub for more: http://nnn.is/the_new_media | We have all unfortunately witnessed countless instances of people on the left expressing their antipathy for President Donald Trump since his campaign for the White House began, and some of what has been said about him has crossed the line into criminality

NBC UNDER FIRE AFTER BEING CAUGHT IN MASSIVE FAKE NEWS SCANDAL INVOLVING GIULIANI STATEMENTS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UUpz87xalo

The Conservative Tribune reports, Another day, another fake news scandal — this one from our friends at NBC. According to the Media Research Center, NBC’s flagship morning show “Today” deceptively edited a quote from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to make it look as if the Republican were against President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily freezing immigration from seven countries.

This is why I hope Trump never stops Tweeting and hope all politicians do the same.
Simply can not trust the Alt Left media for the truth.

If you read the reports from Middle Eastern countries, have admitted that they don't want to assimilate but the mission is to assimilate America to their views.
And it is working on liberals.

When you read Trump's tweets it's clear that they are targeted at the super-stupid faction of the right-wing base (e.g., you and every right-winger on this forum). They are never targeted towards the super-rich billionaire faction whom he is truly working to help, rather they are always targeted at the chumps who will get little more from the Trump presidency than the satisfaction of seeing a little tiny bit of their intense racism satiated for a spell. Where are the tweets saying, "With me at the wheel, we billionaires will finally remove any and all restrictions that prevent us from raping and looting."

Trump issues orders to roll back bank regulations

Excerpt:

The biggest winners were JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Visa on a day that saw the Dow surge 186 points to recoup recent losses. It closed once again above the 20,000 mark, ending at 20,071. The Standard & Poor’s 500 and Nasdaq indexes also recorded big gains, with the Nasdaq ending the trading session in record territory.
