I see what you're saying, and yes the hard working blue collar folks are the ones getting screwed over big time. My approach was more towards the people who are able to work, no physical or mental health issues, but they choose not to. They choose to sponge off the system, because the system enables them to do so.
Almost 9 million Americans are claiming to be disabled and say they can't work. And over 10 billion dollars a year is coming directly out of the SS funds, to pay them a salary for not working.
You say the system allows that, but what is allowing that is the fact that the SS system is not even staffed to be able to investigate the disable claims of people- because of that they are getting away with it.
This is not a black thing- it is not a liberal thing- As you have people claiming disability from every walk of human life and political point of view.
That is exactly why people like Donald Trump cheat on their taxes, it is because they know that the IRS is so understaffed, they know they can get by with it.
The same thing goes for Welfare, Medicare, or any number of other departments.
Medicare fraud could actually be in the 100's of billions annually.
These departments need to be staffed to be able to investigate the fraudulent claims.
I bet for every dollar you spent on investigating the fraud, you would find a million dollars in fraud money.

There are so many people working 2 jobs or more trying to get ahead in life. Tax time comes around and they actually owe money for all their hard work throughout the year. Meanwhile lazy Joe schmoe, 3 kids, worked very little and leached off the government as much as he is allowed gets back over 8 grand for a tax refund.
My proposal would be that those people who make a living by collecting welfare, no longer receive a refund.
Those people working their assess off get the nice tax refund for all their hard work.
But you idol said "That makes them smart"!

Hmm.. let's do the math. No need to count on your fingers and toes, I'll do it for you.. (For God's sake please keep your shoes on.!)
Four judges, 2 Democrats and 2 Republicans have looked at it, and all came to the same conclusion. Number 5 (in Boston) merely abstained. He chose to let the TRO die a natural death when he refused to renew it.
So every judge that has actively ruled on it, has used it for toilet paper.
There's absolutely no reason to think that 11 (full 9th district) or 8 (The Supremes) will rule any differently. All Donny can do, is embarrass himself more and make himself into a global laughingstock.
I say let him do his dance. After 23 judges have ruled him batshit crazy, maybe a senator will move under the 25th to take him down and send him for his meds.
