Cup suggested Marijuana.... it may help but my husband tried it and the mixture of chemo and marijuana was disastrous He screamed one night to come in his room and said ""I am Drowning"" water is all around my bed... I woke him up and said..you are not drowning.. Needless to say.. he stopped taking it.. scared him so bad...

After seeing the extreme, sickening, response to chemo, he was placed on medical marijuana to control the nausea. It has to be "adjusted" to each, particular, patient. It works! And if it has been approved for use by state law IT IS LEGAL. IT FKN works -- just because your husband may have "freaked" (Alan giggled & told jokes and didn't puke his guts & heart out) doesn't mean it has no medicinal value. I would recommend that Connie try the medication. It is monitored in hospital. Chemo is HORRIBLE! No-one can imagine it's reaction on a human body unless they have seen the results first-hand or been so unlucky to have to experience it's effects. I would gladly have stayed stoned out of my gourd when I had cancer in the 1970s -- legal or not, if they knew then what they know now.
