I don't think so. I am very particular of adding anyone other than long life friends and family members only. If I don't want to see someone's stuff I can still be their friend and view their page when I want to. I just don't "follow them" as FB puts it.
As for being on a "dating" site, this is definitely not one for me. I use this to communicate with people I have connected with as long distance friends. Made quite a lot of friends with great hearts and spirit from here. That's the only reason why I haven't deleted my account.
When I am able to, I also send out holiday greetings and/or small gifts. So that's why I am on here.
Sorry for the long dialog. I know some don't take the time to read more than a few sentences on here.

sadly,the only thing that's keeping this site going isn't the posters(down to 20% audience now).
its not the new members(there aren't any)...its all fake profiles trying to yank people to their pay sites.
the advertisements keeps this site going,although ive never clicked onto them.
