So you noticed I didn't research your story here. Why you ask? You are a one trick pony. Racism is what you are all about. That's what happens when you can't debate issues. Earn some cred and maybe we will take you seriously..j/s.

Many in prison study law in prison libraries, and so use what they learn to get out, and get compensation, if convicted wrongly. Being imprisoned for years without any conviction is a sure road to release, and wealth....IF one bothers to learn enough to get a lawyer, and pressure group, behind him / her. If Kalief couldn't be bothered, that is his fault. I will save my sympathy for someone who cared enough about himself to make an effort.

If you leave out the race and color and just post facts, the story takes a different appearance. For those that judge by color, if they just knew the facts they would see the injustice served here. Truly a sad day for this young man. Many government officials that are hired to protect us and our youth failed.
"This is only one story in the Naked City". There are many.
A young black man from the Bronx, Browder's story gained national attention in 2014 after he was profiled by the New Yorker's Jennifer Gonnerman and became a symbol of the criminal justice system's gravest dysfunctions.
He'd been accused at age 16 of stealing a backpack, then spent the next three years incarcerated on Rikers Island without being convicted or even facing a trial — much of that time in solitary confinement. Prosecutors eventually dropped the charges against him, but the time inside took a toll on Browder. In 2015, he died by suicide at his mother's home after suffering through bouts of depression and paranoia. He was 22.
Multiple broken government systems — child welfare, the NYPD's stop-and-frisk policy — shaped Browder's life and, ultimately, his death. Over a fkn backpack.

He was a convicted felon.
Browder had a prior felony—after being caught for joy-riding in a bread truck with a friend, a childlike infraction, he was put on probation for five years.
That could have been me, the way we raced muscle cars back in the day.
Are YOU serious man?
No charges were made over stealing a back pack. Read the facts man. He was 16 and put in Rikers Prison because his mother didn't have the $3000.00 bail money.

Prince, I blocked that jerk long ago but see what he said. The young boy was 16 years of age. My God, me nor my parents would be familiar with the prison system to know how to clear my name. His poor mother and sister were devastated. It took all she could do to earn the $900 dollars toward the bail bond to set him free, but by then he had already been beaten while the guards watched on and more.

And your statement about BLM wasn't factual in fact there were no blm when this issue existed with kalief Browder and before the many innocents citizens killed in this country unjustly. The reason you use blm is to excuse the reality we have in this country for hundreds of years.

I don't watch every video that comes out. I heard a bit about the CP5. My statement is still relevant. It is illegal to imprison someone without "Due Process", which you claim Kalief was denied. That entitles him to go free, and sue the shit out of whatever state, county, etc, falsely imprisoned him. If he failed to make the effort to so get free, study the law, get an attorney, communicate with a pressure group, etc, effectively, that is his fault. I know of other inmates who so acted, and were freed. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Besides, it is so easy to escape from prison. You: get a cigarette, tear it apart, put the tobacco in your coffee, milk, water, or whatever, and drink it down. That makes you ill...effecting your GI tract, making you puke, giving you pains, making your skin an ashen gray color, raising your temperature, etc. The stupid medicos at the jail / prison can't diagnose the condition, and can't let you die, so they have to take you out of the prison to an ER in a local hospital. While there, you are under lax guard, and can easily slip away. It happens often. If KB is too lazy, or gentle, to learn such tricks (there are others, too), He does not care about himself, and so can't expect others to care about him.

This gotta be the stupidest comment on this post and trust me your statement is so irrelevant it doesn't justify what took place with this young kid who so happens to speak out and this documentary is just about the unjust and he had an attorney you dumbf**k. The problem you fail to realize he didn't receive proper act against him he was not a criminal as he was painted. You mentioned about putting cigg in milk etc. Sure a criminal have that kind of mentality but an innocent kid a 16 year old from a poverty area and home would not know much and at that he was mentally abuse and physically abuse.
This documentary kill your argument period.

The kid was a thief. So he only stole a backpack, was it? Theft is theft, and a crime. Don't do the crime if you don't wanna do the time. If he was innocent, or just under-represented by his attorney, he could have appealed to a higher court, and gotten folks like you to put up money for a better attorney. He did not do so....or he did...and folks like you turned him down in his hours of need. Either way, it was the fault of someone else; not me. Had he put as much effort into obeying the law, and learning about it, as he put into braking the law, and whining about the consequences, he would have been free long ago. Suicide is The Wussie's Way. Again, you can't care about yourself, and kill yourself. So, he did not care about himself, and so I feel no need to care for, or about, him. I save my sympathy for those who do care about themselves, and who make at least some effort to fight back. I was abused as a child-age 3 to 5-and was abused: verbally, mentally, physically, and sexually. I dealt with it. At age 5, I struck back, and so ended the abuse. At 16, Kalief could have found a way to strike back. There are ways, and ways. For Kalief, the way would have been to get his story out to folks like you, beg for money, hire a good attorney, and appeal to a higher court. It would have worked. He did not do it. He Wussied himself to death. His choice. It is now too lat to help Kalief. We can help others in similar situations, by educating them as to the methods of getting relief. This I have done here: "learn the law, contact bleeding heart pressure groups on the outside, beg for money, use the money to hire a good attorney, and appeal to higher courts." Such advice does far more to help the other Kaliefs of the world than does your pointless pseudo sympathy for Kalief.

You don't got a clue about this dude case and the sad part is the kid never stolen anything to be imprison in the first place... didn't have a trial, unlawfully act done to him. I suggest you educate on this matter because you got every excuses to justify this unlawfully act toward this young man which later proves he was innocent you dumbf**k.

Different places of the world do not respect this country because of what it has become. In fact there are many places that are way ahead of us. People come here for business financial gain and notice how they go back to their country to rebuild, yet they do not care about america they do not care about your language they do not care about your issues and they do not respect this country because of what it became and founded on.

Prince, if they are corrupt, they will stop at nothing to frame someone and get the case closed. I read where a 17 year old was shot in the back 7 times by a cop that was just pizzed off. The kid was white, no gun, and had flashed his high beams at the cop car because of the headlights being so bright. Several other cars had done the same thing to the cop but he didn't like that this kid questioned why he was pulled over. When the cop pushed the issue, the kid took off running. Totally unnecessary. All law enforcement need to be better trained and have a darn psych evaluation.

Black Dallas Cop Sues Black Lives Matter, Soros for Inciting Race War
The suit hopes to produce damages and an injunction placed against alleged threats of racially-motived violence going forward.
The defendants represent a who’s who of public figures in both racial and general political matters. Apart from founding members and public faces related to Black Lives Matter, Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam; Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network; Malik Zulu Shabazz and the New Black Panthers; George Soros; President Barack Obama; former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder; and Democrat Nominee Hillary Clinton are all included in the suit.
The 66-page federal complaint alleges that each defendant individual and organization “repeatedly incited their supporters and others to engage in threats and attacks” against police officers around the nation, culminating in the July killings of five Dallas area officers with nine others wounded at a Black Lives Matter gathering.
The complaint singles out George Soros as “the financier of the BLM Defendants and similar organizations with the goal of inciting a race war” and advocating violence against whites and Jews.
Defendants Obama and Clinton are blamed for repeatedly endorsing behaviors carried out and surrounding Black Lives Matter.

I was on a work crew for a job we did in Birmingham.
We had a black person on our crew. We couldn't go anywhere in that town where people wouldn't call him a n**ger to his face.
You go the the restrooms there and nothing but hateful negative Obama crap and the word n**ger written all over the walls.
There is something wrong there! I'll go around Alabama now and completely avoid it.

I am fully aware of that and wrong doesn't make it right, it isn't just cops it the whole system. This country is need to see the wrongs and fix it.

Trump offered to bring in help for Shit ca go violence and the Mayor told him no. I just don't get it. They need to wipe the slate clean. Bring in the National Guard and investigate with the FBI. If I was in charge, I sure the hell would want help. Too many innocent children being caught in the cross fire.

Absolutely, i just finish watching the 3rd part on spike. The more i watch it the more i get upset. These racists pricks will have something stupid to say with no proof.
I wonder why amusicluvr is silent after that stupid false statement he made.
He must of realize his wrong judgment on the young man and knew he was wrong for saying what he said.

These hateful racists we have in this country would never change their hateful ways from anything they ever watched on TV. They get their hard-ons watching Donald Trump incite fights and crap like that.
Little Nemo could swim through shark infested waters, and these a**hole would be rooting for the sharks!
They are hateful and bitter to the core, and their hate is causing many problems.[/quote9]
Stop being histrionic.
Obama is a big race batter and the last 8 years is plenty of proof.

Nice story bro
