SHIT! Let my chickens out of the pen to graze and get exercise. Noticed only three were out and about just now. One of my Aracaunas was dead in the coop. I could tell she'd been feeling poorly lately but she seemed to be on the mend. I just thought she was gearing up to pass a double-yolker.
Guess I need to get a couple more pullets. The hens I have now are getting pretty long in the tooth and don't lay like they used to.
