iam_resurrected Reno, NV 46, joined Jul. 2014	i was reading this passage of scripture since i know many times within the bible it seems to repeat itself. but, there has never been a repeat of the tower of babel until RECENTLY NOW (this possibly could be prophetic). look at this scripture here: Genesis 11: KJV 5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. CLV 5 And descending is Yahweh to see the city and the tower which the sons of humanity build. 6 And saying is Yahweh, "Behold! One people is it. And one lip is for them all. And this they started to do! And now nothing will be defended from them of all that they will plan to do. NOTICE: God said: when the people speak as ONE (they are capable of doing the things they have imagined). TODAY: almost every nation can speak some form of English while many English speakers cannot speak another language. but the fact we are nearing ONE TONGUE or LANGUAGE again is a repeat of the Tower of Babel. that must be a sign for the coming anti-Christ. Remember: these are just thoughts one gets when reading the bible and believing God is making a point. no arguing but i am open to anyone's thoughts on this since it might be relevant to todays time. And about fifty thousand years after the death of Nod, when the offspring of the Prince’s staff had become too numerous to find subsistence in the lands immediately surrounding their new city of Dilmun, and after they had reached out to intermarry with the Andonite and Sangik tribes adjoining their borders, it occurred to their leaders that something should be done to preserve their racial unity. Accordingly a council of the tribes was called, and after much deliberation the plan of Bablot, a descendant of Nod, was indorsed. 77:3.2 Bablot proposed to erect a pretentious temple of racial glorification at the center of their then occupied territory. This temple was to have a tower the like of which the world had never seen. It was to be a monumental memorial to their passing greatness. There were many who wished to have this monument erected in Dilmun, but others contended that such a great structure should be placed a safe distance from the dangers of the sea, remembering the traditions of the engulfment of their first capital, Dalamatia. 77:3.3 Bablot planned that the new buildings should become the nucleus of the future center of the Nodite culture and civilization. His counsel finally prevailed, and construction was started in accordance with his plans. The new city was to be named Bablot after the architect and builder of the tower. This location later became known as Bablod and eventually as Babel. 77:3.4 But the Nodites were still somewhat divided in sentiment as to the plans and purposes of this undertaking. Neither were their leaders altogether agreed concerning either construction plans or usage of the buildings after they should be completed. After four and one-half years of work a great dispute arose about the object and motive for the erection of the tower. The contentions became so bitter that all work stopped. The food carriers spread the news of the dissension, and large numbers of the tribes began to forgather at the building site. Three differing views were propounded as to the purpose of building the tower. 77:3.5 1. The largest group, almost one half, desired to see the tower built as a memorial of Nodite history and racial superiority. They thought it ought to be a great and imposing structure which would challenge the admiration of all future generations. 77:3.6 2. The next largest faction wanted the tower designed to commemorate the Dilmun culture. They foresaw that Bablot would become a great center of commerce, art, and manufacture. 77:3.7 3. The smallest and minority contingent held that the erection of the tower presented an opportunity for making atonement for the folly of their progenitors in participating in the Caligastia rebellion. They maintained that the tower should be devoted to the worship of the Father of all, that the whole purpose of the new city should be to take the place of Dalamatia—to function as the cultural and religious center for the surrounding barbarians. 77:3.8 The religious group were promptly voted down. The majority rejected the teaching that their ancestors had been guilty of rebellion; they resented such a racial stigma. Having disposed of one of the three angles to the dispute and failing to settle the other two by debate, they fell to fighting. The religionists, the noncombatants, fled to their homes in the south, while their fellows fought until well-nigh obliterated. 77:3.9 About twelve thousand years ago a second attempt to erect the tower of Babel was made. The mixed races of the Andites (Nodites and Adamites) undertook to raise a new temple on the ruins of the first structure, but there was not sufficient support for the enterprise; it fell of its own pretentious weight. iam_resurrected Reno, NV 46, joined Jul. 2014	we have so many dual mentioning in the bible from creation of Adam in Genesis 1 to further explanation in Genesis 2, from Moses to Peter 1 day = 1,000 years and vice versa, Burning Bush (I AM TO BE), Jesus in John tell the Jewish religious leaders he as (I AM TO BE), to Daniel in many chapters being tied together better in Revelations, and it goes on and on... tree of life-(A)ngel of God/Lord-noah's ark-to eventually Christ work on the cross ((all)) represent Jesus. but nowhere in the bible is there another time when people were like at Tower of Babel being one people and ONE tongue. today, we are at ONE tongue. God, said this was when men could make their imaginations possible. so, what is possible right now that all of us speak English? if the bible repeats and has purpose for it, then why did the conditions of the Tower of Babel wait for now to be repeated? my guess we are on verge of Christ's return and intro into the Anti-Christ. I stated in a thread awhile back Hillary being the wh*re of Babylon and Trump being the false Trump(Nostradamus) or false prophet to lead us to the antichrist. remember the movie series "Left Behind"? it is about like what Trump is doing now with tearing down media and controlling it. that is what the antichrist does in this movie but on the united nations level. I would say we are repeating Tower of Babel which led to God coming down to scatter. now the real question is: what is God going to come down and do since the conditions have repeated? Before The Flood man had grown so wicked that God found grace in only one man, Noah. After The Flood God told them to be fruitful, multiple, replenish the earth. Because man was one in language and started to manifested rebellious again, God confounded their language in order for His plan of Salvation to occur, i.e. Christ's first arrival. That's why Pentecost was such an significant event, God allowed all to hear in their own language the Gospel in order to be a witness to the whole world. I agree with with you Iam that what was once (one tongue) will occur again; not necessarily in one tongue but in one rebellious accord ushering in the anti-christ. But at the heart of this oneness is not necessarily one spoken tongue but a collective rebellious towards God, which will not result in a scattering but a destruction of the wicked. As it was in the day's of Noah, so shall be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Their goal was to reach heaven. It was through their efforts that they were trying to save themselves.

I was just caught off guard a bit when I read that when the people could communicate and create a purpose (building Tower to heaven) God made it impossible to finish their goal. and here we are once again. to a point where mankind can devise plans since everyone is capable of communicating in today's age of technology. we have a president who is attempting to control the media (which is one form of our communication from one to another). it all stems down to we are now at a point where we can understand and follow one another. and since this is a clear repeat of the conditions to the Tower of Babel. it makes me wonder just how close we are to the second coming and rise of the antichrist. Daniel in chapter 11 is clear Syria and Egypt will create war and Syria wins thus opening the door for the antichrist. I mention this because Jewish newspapers in Israel are reporting that Syria and Egypt are on verge of war. did you also know that 8 million Jews have returned and claimed this land of their ancestors? plus, they are using the 12th century Turkish Talmud and teaching the Messiah is coming soon? plus, they have petitioned the United Nations THREE times to rebuild their Temple? and U.N. denied claiming Israel (Jerusalem)(where Jewish Temple existed) is Muslim land? the time is close and the Jews are not only practicing their old ways, but they want to return to ((sacrificing)) in their Temple again. we have to be close to Christ's return. God had already abandoned and cast aside the JEWS for disobedience. Where in the Bible is the 2nd coming referred to with regard to the JEWS (of the Talmud) and 3rd temple?

iam_resurrected Reno, NV 46, joined Jul. 2014	you need a ((temple)) so Jews can sacrifice to reveal the antichrist when he sacrifices impure offerings. this is Daniel and Revelations. and since Jews are petitioning for a new Temple since they went back to old ways reveals they want to go back to sacrificing (since they do not recognize Jesus) and following the oldest Talmud takes them back to LAW of MOSES and sacrificing for sins. they are preaching the Messiah is coming. so, how are they cleansing their sins if they are waiting for Messiah? by sacrificing. which leads to why they have petitioned 3 times. can't be a antichrist until the Jews have their Temple and they are trying to get it to sacrifice for their sin atonement.
