I live in Virginia and am afraid my license will now be suspended,
I have never been in trouble with the law, I am 60 years old, last week I was stopped by a police and charged with possesion on marijuana, it was lESS than a joint.(it was a gift from a friend) Now I am reading that Virginia is REQUIRED to suspend your license for 6 months EVEN on your first offense
my court date is in may
...I do not know how I am going to make it , my son needs a ride to school, i work 11 miles away, etc...I work several odd jobs as well...if I cant get to work I cant make enough $ to pay my bills and I also cant afford public transportation because for my job it takes 3 busses and over 2 hours each way to get there.
It was just a small amount, I already know I will have to take drug rehab here and submit to random tests for a long time plus serve community service and pay a fine, who knows what else
please does anyone know of anyone
or have any advice?
I have no $ for a lawyer and have no one
please be nice, this is tough enough already
can anyone help?

I know of some Washed Up, D.C. Federal attorneys who worked
with the Congressmen and Congressional Hearings for years .
I will have to see if they worked with Congressmen Sonny Bono
when he served .
These attorneys will surely be " Pro-Bono " as Sonny Bono was
one of the most popular of the multi term congressman.
