Here where I live, they erected concrete barriers and blocked off streets, entrances to buildings, even entire city blocks. They taxed us many millions of dollars, to move a local highway slightly further away from the Pentagon than it already was. How is this any different?

You have to take in consideration the language barriers, but I think the article was not about banning trucks only, "cars" too. Well, as much as I can read and understand Swedish. But again, they don't depend that heavily on personal transportation, they have public one and bikes. Maybe it works for them, who knows. In Europe for a family having two cars is seen unnecessary anyway. Personal vehicle taxes are so high many just go without cars.

As posted, this is an attack on Swedes for segregating certain areas in their cities from motor vehicles, as a response to a series of terrorist attacks using those vehicles. I suggest that there's nothing to make fun of about that, and I am pointing out that we have already done that here, many many times over.

Their government under the agreement with the EU allowed these terrorists into their country and now they are stuck with them. Masses of refugees which were not vetted have flooded into Europe with boatloads more headed their way.
