I don't believe any private citizen should be allowed to carry any kind of firearm, except hunters using a rifle in an unpopulated rural area.

Years ago...my place of employment had a corporate shooting incident. If someone carried a firearm that nutjob would of never been able to reload his 12 gauge for another 5 minutes of stalking down employees and bosses...

Airsoft guns don't really count as firearms, Cup.

I have a friend who is a SMU Policeman. HE said they have a staff of 36 officers and about 30 of them are armed and all of the are fully commissioned Police Officers.

He said all of the Texas Universities are the same in having their own campus policemen.

It's been like that since the UT tower incident back in the 60's.

Texas did pass a law where you can carry on Campus now if you have your license-to-carry permit.

He also said the department didn't like the idea at first, but, there have been no incidents and he said he hasn't even seen one person carry a weapon to school.

But the fact is, here in Texas, our campuses are armed with their own police departments.

I'm in favor of anything, that puts the decisions back I'm people's choices. If anything bad is going to happen, it will happen regardless. Criminal acts happen through people that don't care what laws are in place. If anything it may save a life or two?

Especially walking out to your car in a parking lot at night,with a bag full of cash,that's a robbery just waiting to happen..@fish.

I did that one time back in the 80's; but, it was a trap for people that had robbed some friends of mine.

Reliving the trauma one experienced once upon a time. Guadalcanal Vets back in America would be a good example of people subject to flashbacks. Or, any other major battle.

That's the trouble with writing memoirs; reliving the experiences of things better forgotten.

I didn't want to be like ... say, the Clinton's, or 0bama ... and just make everything up.
