CLV 2Pt 2:1 Yet there came to be false prophets also among the people, as among you also there will be false teachers who will be smuggling in destructive sects, even disowning the Owner Who buys them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.

In my thread

What Has This "doc" Been Wrong About So Far?
https://DateHookup.dating/thread-1467489.htm

I started to list the false information that by the false teacher here. That thread got hijacked by the nubian and clarity. So I will try again and post a thread of false information provided by the bashingdoc here on DH.

1. 'gehenna' is not "hell"

Quote from brashdoc:
Gehenna (eternal hell, forever & ever, in the age to come) was CREATED by God especially for the devil & his angelic demons to be departed to & separate from God's saints.

This "doc" can't seem to make up his mind what the term "hell" actually means. In this example, he tries to pin "hell" on 'gehenna,' an Ancient Greek term meaning "valley," specifically the Valley of the Sons of Hinnom.

See...

Welcome to sunny...Gehenna
https://DateHookup.dating/Thread-575330.htm

2. What must we do to be "saved"?

"doc" likes to substitute his opinions for Scriptural Truth.

CLV Matt. 11:30 for My yoke is kindly and My load is light.

There are several people here who want to add to Jesus' yoke. Perhaps they feel that Jesus is too easy on sinners. Perhaps they just want to have some control over others. Whatever sickness they suffer from, Paul said...

CLV Rom. 10:13 For everyone, whoever should be invoking the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

3. The number of gospels in the Scriptures.

It seems that God figures the gospels differently than men do.

I have shown IN THE SCRIPTURES that there is more than one gospel in the Bible.

See my thread on this subject...

The Eight gospels of our Salvation
https://DateHookup.dating/Thread-798381.htm

CLV Ga 2:7 But, on the contrary, perceiving that I have been entrusted with the evangel of the Uncircumcision,
8 according as Peter of the Circumcision (for He Who operates in Peter for the apostleship of the Circumcision operates in me also for the nations),

Again, he ignores that portion of the Bible that doesn't jive with the theories that he promotes.

4. Not using names

Quote from brashdoc:
I see the poster you refuted about not all being saved has to break the Forum posting rules, making make a post about me specifically by name. (see: https://DateHookup.dating/thread-1433518.htm especially #3, never NAME NAMES.

"doc" is really good at pointing fingers at others and pitching them the rules, but not so much at following them himself.

If he is suggesting that we are not allowed to use the names of the members here, he is very much mistaken. The quoting feature that we use here has the members names in it.

Wrong again.

5. Alternate egos.

I have no alternate ego here. Only one - bigd9832. No one else.

The one who bumps my posts is a legitimate member and has been here longer than I have.

As far as the "bump" is concerned, I have seen it used in many people's posts. So again, this "doc" is selective about who he is blowing the whistle on.

No rules were broken here.

6. All mankind will be saved.

CLV 1Ti 2:4 Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realization of the truth.

It is God's Will. His Will shall be done. Even if there are some who doubt Him.

According to the Scriptures, all mankind will be saved.

CLV Lk 24:25 And He said to them, "O foolish and tardy of heart to be believing on all which the prophets speak!

7. Can you read what the Scriptures say?

CLV Acts 17:26 Besides, He makes out of one every nation of mankind, to be dwelling on all the surface of the earth, specifying the setting of the seasons and the bounds of their dwelling,

Quote from brashdoc:
"Jesus Christ is not mentioned in the verse above. It also does not state that Jesus Christ will save all mankind in that verse,

Jesus Christ is often referred to as "He" or "Him." But it seems that this "doc" likes to take these verses out of context. I suggest we read the entire chapter to get an idea of Who is talking to who.

I wonder just how familiar he is with the Bible.

8. There is still no "hell" in the Bible.

This "doc" has stated that "gehenna" is "hell." Yet the experts and scholars say it is not.

_____Strong's_____

G1067 geena gheh'-en-nah
of Hebrew origin (H1516 and H2011);

valley of (the son of) Hinnom; ge-henna (or Ge-Hinnom), a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment.

"doc" has yet to come up with the Ancient term for "hell." And 'gehenna' ain't it.

9. No "disgust" for the Modern Greek manuscripts.

Quote from brashdoc:
To show even more bias & an apparent blatant disgust for the Textus Receptus Greek text & interlinear, notice what they have done on the scripture4all website:

From the ISA 2 program...

The entire Scrivener 1894 Textus Receptus edition of the Greek
New Testament text presumably underlying the Authorized (King
James) Version of 1611 is included herein.

Presented in the ISA program without bias. It seems the only one who had this "bias" is the "doc."

10. The name of God

Quote from brashdoc:
Yet one of the most egregious errors he makes is to mess with the memorial name of God Himself in Exodus 3:14,15 & depart from the 'objective, accurate & consistent' translation.

Look at the thread...

What Has This "doc" Been Wrong About So Far?
https://DateHookup.dating/thread-1467489.htm

for an article about His name.

11. What are the 10 most popular websites?

Quote from brashdoc:
It is no wonder that the 10 most popular websites for in-depth bible study do not include the CLV in any of its Bible translation lists for study. So the Concordant Publishing Concern came up with its own website: scripture4all.org

I suppose these 10 websites are a secret. But I can testify that the CLV is on eSword. I am not sure about anyone else. But if these websites are not using the CLV, it is their loss.

More false information from the false teachers.

12. No one? Are you sure?

Quote from brashdoc:
No other translator has done this! Usually, one translates the Qal imperfect in the present tense or can translate it in the future tense, depending on the context & syntax (as mentioned above). All other translators primarily do the present tense but some also do the future tense--BUT THEY ARE CONSISTENT in translating both 'hayahs' the same way: I AM that I AM or I WILL BE Who I WILL BE.

But that's not how the Tanakh says it. The Tanakh is made from the Hebrew text, by Jews and for Jews. And it comes to us before the time of Jesus.

But even so, just because so many do it wrong has nothing to do with those who do it right.

cont.

13. More exaggerating.

Quote from brashdoc:
He quotes Mr. Knoch on his definition of being spiritually born again & shows what I already posted--being born again by the Spirit of God is not for Christians until the millenium & that message was for the Jews & the good news was REALLY BAD NEWS & DISAPPOINTING.

The phrase "REALLY BAD NEWS & DISAPPOINTING" was nowhere to be found among Mr. Knoch's writings. I suspect he came up with that one all by his lonesome.

An update.

Quote from brashdoc:
Another poster deliberately didn't put the right words in a search on the Concordant Publishing Concerns website where Mr. Knoch says the good news of regeneration is bad news & proudly trumpeted, 'Nothing found'...

I used the exact words that bashdoc used in doing my search. His words...

The result? Nothing found.

More false information from the false teachers.

************************************************************************************

So much for review.

14. Acts 15?

Quote from brashdoc:
Act 15 does not prove two administrations;

I have no idea where he got this one. And he refuses to provide a source for it. I have never said that Acts 15 proves anything. I have an entire list of Scriptures that shows the division between the Circumcision (Jews) and the Uncircumcision (Gentiles).

See my thread...

Why Jesus came for the Jews ONLY
https://DateHookup.dating/thread-889549.htm

16. Not Christians?

Quote from isna_la_wica:
So that is why he refuses to acknowledge that Christ is the temple raised up again in 3 days, and any who do not agree with him on the Temple are not Christian?

The name "Christian" is Latin in its termination, so seems to have been given by the Romans. It is mentioned only twice more (26:28; 1Pet 4:16), and was a term of contempt. It is never used by the saints of themselves, though there are hundreds of passages where we would use the term today. The name probably arose from the fact that here, for the first time, gentiles, Romans, left the worship of the synagogue for the faith of Christ. They would be continually speaking of one "Christ" and their countrymen gave them this new name in derision. Paul never uses this term. Peter alone uses it of his fellow saints of the Circumcision who believed.

Paradoxical as it may seem, only Jews are Christians in the Scriptures. The term is never applied to the nations, but only to Jews or proselytes. Paul never uses the name in his epistles. It occurs only in Acts, which is concerned with the past rejection of the kingdom, and in Peter, which looked forward to its future realization. It is a notable example of the manner in which Scriptural terms have been utterly perverted from their original use.

Once again, I suspect antisemitism. It seems these false teachers don't recognize the Jews as Christians.

Quote from isna_la_wica:
Its the special Greek having to be translated into special English, makes more sense if you speak it in a German accent.

Another example of this hatred for the German people.

Alot of hate among the false teachers.

17. Christ only came for Israel?

Quote from isna_la_wica:
If Christ only came for Israel ?
- why does this say "us", and not Israel?
- why would this be true, even before the nation of Israel existed?

I never said Christ only came for Israel. Where are they getting this stuff?

CLV Mt 15:24 Now He, answering, said, "I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

If you have a problem with what Jesus said, take it up with Jesus.

18. The word "toward"

Quote from isna_la_wica:
So in the above illustration Mr Knoch makes it clear: the Greek word 'PROS' ALWAYS HAS THE MEANING OF 'TOWARD.'

So when the CLV was examined as to the use of PROS in the 52 times it is used in reference to being 'in company,' we would have expected it to be translated every time as 'TOWARD' but it wasn't.

As this quackerdoc has not listed these supposed 52 verses, I will just make a reference to a few.

CLV Mt 13:56 And his sisters, are they not all toward/with us? Whence, then, has this one all these?"

CLV Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was toward God, and God was the word.

CLV 1Th 3:4 For even when we were toward/with you, we predicted to you that "we are about to be afflicted," according as it came to be also, and you are aware.

CLV 2Th 2:5 Do you not remember that, still being toward/with you, I told you these things?

CLV 2Th 3:10 For even when we were toward/with you, we gave this charge to you: that "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat."

CLV 1Jn 1:2 And the life was manifested, and we have seen and are testifying and reporting to you the life eonian which was toward the Father and was manifested to us.

Every example I presented has the word "toward".

And again, the Ancient Koine Greek term 'pros' shows up 725 times in the NT. Not 52.

bashingdoc's hatred burns brightly.

Quote from isna_la_wica:
I am not getting the ""PROS" (Gk.)", stuff the same as you Doc, must be doing something wrong. But no matter what Lexicon I use, or which Translation of concordance I use and check? I do not get any thing even near to "to wards".

_____Strong's_____

G4314 pros pros
a strengthened form of G4253;

a preposition of direction; forward to, i.e. toward (with the genitive case, the side of, i.e. pertaining to; with the dative case, by the side of, i.e. near to; usually with the accusative case, the place, time, occasion, or respect, which is the destination of the relation, i.e. whither or for which it is predicated). In the comparative case, it denotes essentially the same applications, namely, motion towards, accession to, or nearness at.

Something wrong? Perhaps he does not know how to use the Bible tools. Or maybe his mistake is listening to the "doc."

Or maybe he should just stay home, wash his socks, and watch cartoons.

19. Misquoting Mr. Knoch

Quote from brashdoc:
Another poster deliberately didn't put the right words in a search on the Concordant Publishing Concerns website where Mr. Knoch says the good news of regeneration is bad news & proudly trumpeted, 'Nothing found' as if it wasn't there & implied I was lying again (he uses lying like emptying a machine gun)talking in thin air.

I don't know what this guy has been smokin, but I have proven that he misquoted Mr. Knoch. For someone who is trying so desperately to disparage this man, he has to make up things in order to do so.

I put into the search feature exactly what he posted...

Of course, A. E. Knoch didn't say that. So when I entered this into the search feature on the website, it came back "Nothing Found."

It proves that bashdoc has been misquoting A. E. Knoch all along. As this isn't the first time this has happened.

See the thread...

It Is Very Disappointing
https://DateHookup.dating/thread-1468490.htm

20. Confusing Hebrew with Greek

Quote from brashdoc:
Throughout the Concordant Publishing Concern's translation, every word is analyzed and a single English word is assigned to each Hebrew word as its STANDARD (synonyms or idiomatic variants are used where necessary, for the sake of good diction).

This comes from a post where the bashdoc was trying to discuss the Ancient Greek term 'pros.' But the above comment is about Ancient Hebrew, not Ancient Greek.

Looks like someone here is confused.

21. Greek word 'pros'

Quote from brashdoc:
So when the CLV was examined as to the use of PROS in the 52 times it is used in reference to being 'in company,' we would have expected it to be translated every time as 'TOWARD' but it wasn't. In fact 42 times it is translated as 'WITH!' It is only translated 'TOWARD' 10 times and guess what? Those 10 times deal directly with being 'IN COMPANY' with God.

Examined? Examined by who? It wasn't examined very closely. The Ancient Greek word 'pros' is used more than 52 times. In fact, it is used 322. What happened to the other 270 occurrences of the word 'pros'?

I guess he doesn't count very well.

From his list of examples...

It's back to the drawing board basher. Your 42 has just been reduced to 36. Maybe if you bring those other 36 out of hiding we can examine them as well.

I don't understand. This is the thread False Teachers Gives False Information

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Quote from isna_la_wica:
Quite amazing really. All these latter day sects, discovering that for 2,000 plus years, a great conspiracy was on going! And the 'real truth" was hidden until they came around in the 1800`s or in Knoch`s case, the 1900`s and discovered it.

And what a Conspiracy it has been, enough to make a pot smoking , tin hatter Illuminati follower blush! Hundreds of Translators, over 20 centuries, co - ordinate a complex conspiracy , involving at a minimum 3 different languages. Thousands of different denominations, theologians, teachers and millions of those who studied Scripture. And we all kept quiet, and hid the true Gospel until they came along. And here I thought the OJ Conspiracy theory stretched the seams of credibility till it was bursting !

Now, why would we do that? Just to invent the Trinity? Pray tell, what benefit would there be, in any possible way?

These twits make no sense at all. The doctrine of the Trinity gives no body extra power, money, what ever.

But that is what they claim.

I never claimed that, and neither did Mr. Knoch.

I suppose isna likes to make this stuff up. Oh, with a little help from the bashdoc.

More fantasy. More misinformation.

“The Bible explains nothing. It still leaves you with the infinite creation loop regress.”

The Bible explains everything—from our origins, our purpose, our destiny, to why there is death and suffering, and how to find everlasting life. However, these truths are hidden from the proud heart.

22. All Jews have the same belief.

It seems the bashingdoc has read the condensed or "Cliffnotes" version of a book written by a Jewish rabbi. He claims that this book represents all the Jews beliefs for 4000 years. The problem is, there is no way this rabbi could even know this.

Yet I can't believe that ALL the Jews would agree on anything.

There are 71 - 72 sects or "movements" as they like to be called. Each movement has it's own set of beliefs, and much like Christianity, does not agree with the other 70. Each movement believes that their's is right and all the others are wrong. Each movement believes that the others will be punished for this false teachings.

How different is this from Christianity?

One rabbi knows about his movement only. Perhaps he knows a little about another. But there are Orthodox Jewish movements that are pretty secretive. So it would be very difficult to know what they believe.

In any case, it would be impossible for one rabbi to know what every movement of the Jews believes.

The bashingdoc is wrong again. And this time so is his sidekick isna.

One Jewish rabbi, one movement, one set of beliefs.

23. The "after-life" of the Jews.

For the Jews, their death is not the end. They look to the Olam Haba, aka, "the world to come." The question is, does the Olam Haba represent an etherical existence or a physical one.

To answer this question I turn to the gospels...

CLV Jn 11:12 The disciples, then, said to Him, "Lord, if he has repose, he shall be saved."
He is saying it concerning the repose of sleep.
14 Jesus, then, said to them with boldness then, "Lazarus died.
15 And I am rejoicing because of you, that you should be believing, seeing that I was not there. But we may be going to him."

CLV Jn 11:21 Martha, then, said to Jesus, "Lord, if Thou wert here, my brother would not have died.
22 But even now I am aware that whatsoever Thou shouldst be requesting of God, God will be giving to Thee."
23 Jesus is saying to her, "Your brother will be rising."
24 Martha is saying to Him, "I am aware that he will be rising in the resurrection in the last day."

Martha expressed a belief that she was taught even since she was a young child. That the Messiah will resurrect the dead and they would enter into the Millennium here on the Earth.

Another clue to the physical nature of "the world to come" is found in the Lord's Prayer...

CLV Mt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will become done, as in heaven, on earth also.

CLV Lk 11:2 Now He said to them, "Whenever you may be praying, be saying, `Our Father, Who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy name! Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, on earth also,

Jesus is teaching to pray for His kingdom to come to Earth. Also, that the Will of the Father be done on Earth, as opposed to man's will.

I would also point to 1 Corinthians 15 where Paul explains the Immortal body and some of it's attributes.

It is possible that some of the Jews picked up the beliefs from Egypt, Greece, and Rome regarding an "after-life." These religions are known today as pagan all contain these type beliefs.

But the Bible also speaks of a faithful remnant. Those Jews who have kept His Word for all those years, and passed it down to their kids.

The bashingdoc is wrong again. And this time so is his sidekick isna.

Whenever I see bashingdoc's posts I seem to smell mindy.

24. The Soul Does Indeed Die

From "Do As the Bereans Did Acts 17:11 and Practice Heb 13:1"
Quote from brashdoc:
So when Jesus says you 'CANNOT KILL THE SOUL,' He means exactly that. When you die physically, your body goes back to dust but the soul can't be killed, it continues to exist after mortal death.

The problem here is, Jesus didn't say you cannot kill the soul.

CLV Ezk 18:20 The soul that does sin--it does die. A son does not bear of the iniquity of the father, And a father does not bear of the iniquity of the son, The righteousness of the righteous is on him, And the wickedness of the wicked is on him.

CLV Jsh 2:14 And the men say to her, `Our soul for yours--to die; if you declare not this our matter, then it has been, in Yahweh's giving to us this land, that we have done with you kindness and truth.'

CLV Num 23:10 Who counts the soil-drift of Jacob? And who numbers the dust cloud of Israel? May my soul die the death of the upright, and may my hereafter be just as his!

The soul dies when the body dies. We learn that in Genesis.

Not every sect or movement of the Jews believe that the soul lives on after death.

No wonder that he didn't give us book, chapter, and verse on this one.

Does he have any credibility left?
