Male supervisors is more likely to judge subordinates by the work they do. Female supervisors are more likely to judge subordinates by the way they dress. So maybe men, generally speaking, make the best bosses. What do y'all think?

It's just not a one size fits all, that's for sure.
Depending on the job at hand, sometimes a woman might be better than a man and vice versa.
In any case, whoever makes the most money for the company is the best choice. Bottom line.

I can’t say about that Lud, but I have noticed that women supervisors more often let their authority go to their heads. And although there are exceptions to every rule, women, generally speaking, do not work as well together as men do. I think it is more in men’s nature to work together to get a job done.

I worked for a company for almost thirty years, that hired and fired people based in large part on how good they looked in a suit. And it was run ENTIRELY by men throughout it's long history.
I suggest that your notion assumes falsehoods to begin with, and so is itself false in turn.
Any company who advances and retains officers who ignore performance, and are concerned ONLY with appearances, is bound to fail, and that would mean that the MALES who allowed the FEMALES in your fantasy to run things that way, would have proven that THEY should never have been put in a position to hire said females.
In other words, your opening claim does not have any valid factual support to begin with. If you want to pretend that men are naturally better middle management than women, you wont succeed in proving it this way.

Oh really? Actually the past male bosses I've had spend way more time screwing off, texting, bs-ing, whining about everything.
Women's brains are designed to multitask much more efficiently.
Ever seen a mom with 3-4 children under 10. Then watch daddy try to handle the same task & watch him sweat as he doesn't know how to handle what & when.
Women are more patient with subordinates & better teachers. They are more organized & learn much faster.
How do I know this? Because most of my former male bosses have told me that & that's why they chose to fill the position with a female.
Why are the countries that are ruled by women less likely to have conflicts & wars? Why are those same countries doing better fiscally & financially? Why is it that those countries have less poverty & homelessness & sickness?
Its because they are run by women.

I have seen some strong, competent women leaders here where I work, I also have seen weak men supervisors. I would say men are better because women are so spiteful toward one another, most of the women sups I have had had problems with the other women. I have also noticed it's like when mom spanks you and you laugh but when dad does it look out. No offence to the ladies...

The most intelligent and logical thinking boss I ever had was a woman. She judged us on our performance, nothing else which is rare. She couldn't stomach agendas or simpleton thinking. I would've worked for her the rest of my life, if she didn't tragically pass away.

Kroger and P&G have a program for women. Its a fast track program to move women up the management ladder.
From what I have been told a lot of these women are nasty and will step on anyone that gets in their way.
Funny thing is those that have talked to me about this are women.

Why not hire supervisors based on how good a job they will do at it, instead of based on their genitalia?
You should watch "The Handmaid's Tale" TV series, OP. It's an eye-opener about the joys of a patriarchal theocracy (imposed in the US by a bloody coup, so when women are turned into slaves they haven't had a chance to grow up being used to it.)

Texas, you say: “I would say men are better [supervisors] because women are so spiteful toward one another, most of the women sups I have had had problems with the other women.”
Texas, I have also noticed that about women workers and supervisors. The office of a company I worked for was manned by women (no pun intended) and they were always at one another’s throats, you know, jealousy, envy, and such.
There are exceptions to every rule, but women, for the most part, are more emotional than men, and less rational. There was a woman in the office of another company I worked for that was an exception to this rule, she was exceptionally logical and rational. She would have made a really good supervisor or manager. (And I liked her, but she was married. The best women, it seems, were almost always already taken).

Let me quess, you went to work today and you found ot your new boss was a woman, about 5'8" blonde curvy 159 pounds. She told you come into my office I want to have a word with you. You followed her in and she looked at you and said " never wear a shirt with f**king hole in it again". You said " the old boss didn't care" rather meekly. The new boss , Andrea is her name, didn't appreciate your tone. She proceeded to roll down her panties , as you looked on in stunned silence. These panties were two days old seeing how Andrea doesn't change them everyday. She looked you in the eye and said "sit down" so you followed orders. Then she said open you mouth in her womanly commanding tone, then she stuffed her panties in your mouth. She said "keep them in your mouth for ten minutes" and you did . Then after 5 minutes the gagging and drooling and taste of 2 day old underwear was too much and you spit them in the garbage , Andrea said " you've suffered enough now come here and taste my p*ssy" she was lying back in her leather chair, showing off her perfectly shaved blonde p*ssy (cont..)

There is a medical term for women like that louie. It is called Hysteria.
At one time the medical cure for the condition was to have a "hysterectomy" That is why the procedure is called a hysterectomy. Cutting out the uterus and ovaries Cured hysteria.
So the procedure was called hysterectomy! Women were designed to be in the kitchen.

There is an old saying that if you like what you do you'll never work a day in your life.
I don't think that's gender specific. Also, I believe a supervisor that has worked the area's they will be supervising are better.
I've seen new nursing grads. out of college with their degrees move too quickly into management positions trying to run a unit when they haven't had enough experience in the 'job' they are supervising. They end up being very unhappy and disillusioned. Surprise eh?
I've seen many compassionate male nurses with a great compass towards empathy, and I've seen some females with a bad attitude....gender does not a good supervisor make.

Yes the vibrator was invented to help cure hysteria.
It was invented by a doctor in 1869 I believe. He had so many patients with hysteria that his hand was always tired stimulating the patient to orgasm that he invented the machine.
Here is a picture of the actual machine he invented. It is a steam powered f**king machine.
As you can tell it was made before consumer safety laws were in place. Notice the open chain. What if a woman writhed around in ecstasy and got her foot caught in that thing during an orgasm?

Sounds like "The Handmaid's Tale" (new TV remake of an old story by Margaret Atwood).
A bloody religious fundamentalist coup takes down the US government and institutes marshal law (they murder Congress and blame it on terrorists to justify the "security provisions"). Their next big move is to force all businesses (at gunpoint) to fire all their female employees (and confiscate all women's bank accounts, although a male who accepts responsibility for the woman could apply to have the money released to him.)
After that women either serve as "Handmaid" breeding stock (as some disease has caused widespread infertility) for the elite leaders of the military junta, as "Martha" house servants, or in some cases stay-at-home wives. Gays are hung, unless they are fertile, in which case they remain in service as breeding stock but have their genitals mutilated.
Of course women don't just flip a switch and accept this, as they are used to being equals - So there are protests until the protestors are machine-gunned. From there a rebellion kindles and drags on for years, while the territory controlled by the junta theocracy are terrorized into submission (but threads of resistance movement circulate)
It's a fantastic show (3 episodes in)... really really chilling, and it raises questions that Americans need to ask themselves when considering whether it's safe or wise to accept the rule of men like Steve Bannon.

Yes the vibrator was invented to help cure hysteria. Here is a picture of the actual machine he invented. It is a steam powered f**king machine.
As you can tell it was made before consumer safety laws were in place. What if a woman writhed around in ecstasy and got her foot caught in that thing during an orgasm?
Yeah what if it went too fast and overheated welding the woman's lips shut?

Ludlow can't provide statistics to back up his opinion, huh?
ludlow says women have no logic, like to get beat up and are terrible bosses, plus he doesn't know if he should smile at them. This guy is 65 yrs old and from what he writes knows less about women than a 12 year old kid. Maybe he can get lucky with a 80 year old cougar

It's just not a one size fits all, that's for sure.
Depending on the job at hand, sometimes a woman might be better than a man and vice versa.
In any case, whoever makes the most money for the company is the best choice. Bottom line.
