If dems and those who hate Trump actually succeed in impeaching him then they will make a bad strategic mistake. Then the smooth and stealthy Pence will take over and accelerate the dismantling of what is left of our middle class. It will allow the globalist/corporatist republicans and dems to start from a clean slate and possibly retain the White house and congress. Nothing will change.
However, by not impeaching Trump and letting his administration blunders fester til 2020 will pave the way for real change and enable TRUE democrats to take over and reverse 35 years of globalism/corporatism and trickle down economics and join the rest of the civilized world in providing health care to its people with single payer. We might even see some of those Wall Street criminals put behind bars.

Many senators are saying we should remove trump from office if he is found guilty. I hope they will remove trump & let pence be the leader of the United States. Like president Ford was the president. Impeachment is a long-winded process. First the matter is investigated which could take years. If any evidence of malfeasance in office is found, the House votes whether to deliver a bill of indictment. If indicted, the matter moves to the Senate for a trial.
Trump could easily serve out his term before getting impeached! If he does, he won't get impeached, but he could be prosecuted for whatever crime he committed in office. And Trump will fight like hell to defend himself. Whether he is impeached or not, millions of dollars will be spent by the bureaucrats and politicians involved in this matter.
And what will be the net result? Besides all the time and money wasted, the affairs of the government get put on the back burner with all the attention paid to this nonsense. In the end, a lengthy report will be issued no one will read. And Trump? Nothing in the way of punishment will happen to him.
Yup, this whole process is engineered to entertain you idiots who have nothing in your lives to look forward to but gossip among yourselves.

Can I remember livable wages? Sure, but that also was a time, when my neighbor had his name on that business, or everything we shopped at had a name on it, not a corporation. I'm nearly 40 and the last of those who can remember that. Before small businesses were the enemy of the State. I wasn't old enough to fight off corporations and their politicans, who created legislation to destroy family businesses a d wealth. But I'd gladly stand with anyone, whose willing to take it back. First the establishment has too be put back in place and it has started. Trump is the only viable option, to get this started. Moving forward, there will be people who aren't Trump.
