See...we had a perfectly good thread here, inspiring thoughts and words with great meaning and controversy and differences of opinions without arguing.
something very rare on here anymore....perhaps a lean in the right direction.
Then along comes mikey ruining all of that, with his quest to be the "It" person and attempt to do away of those he is either jealous of or he considered mortal enemies in that sick and twisted mind of his.
Oh well.
This seems to happen quite often too.

Bumble did address the initial post and was correct in his comments about how they make rodeo animals perform. Not sure why so many people want to attack someone because they don't agree with them or they think post is too long.

Not all, but maybe most?... There are many that take great care of their animals.. and some of those animals would not make it in their natural environment. I applaud the ones that don't exploit, but educate.

OP...in a perfect world I can see a lot of things changing...its not perfect, there are good and bad sides to everything.
I said to myself once...when the last whale in the ocean goes...I don't want to be here anymore. I was with Green Pease a long time ago, so, I'm not just talk, talk is easy.
again, with where this is potentially leading, will stifle the young minds with the capability from ever manifesting the drive and want for something deemed positive for animals in general...Inspiration from seeing things live is more the driving force than anything else, to make young minds want to go into that direction...no matter what it is.
Looking at what Japan is doing to the whales and sharks and the things the Chinese and some other Orientals buy in their herb shops and food delicacies that use a small minut portion of an animal or fish and the rest is thrown away....that's direction this needed to go first...and if some animal weren't in a zoo...or rare types of animals, the odds are soon, their species would die off out in the wild and poachers..some animals in performance captivity would have killed out there if free.
I don't mind the curtailing of real abuse and intimidation...but I had a Lab/golden retriever that was the smartest dog I ever had and he loved the water, and wanted you to throw a stick and retrieve it in it...and that made him extremely happy, along with other such things and he had an awesome great life.
He didn't do tricks just for the treat, he did it because he figured I wanted him to and doing that made him happy and he loved the attention he got for it.
I agree with concept when its really wrong...but the shit is starting to go too far and you can bet your ass, there will be negative things that come out of it to, and they might outway the positive in the long run.. Its the same old story with most things that started a few generations ago...great concepts that went too far and now, we are reeling in the negative effects of going too far.

Well, how would you like it if you were locked in a cage most of your life? How would you like it if you were beaten to constantly perform tricks? Anyone, that promotes this is just an unfeeling person. Animals have damn feeling too.
