I went to a lunch for a first meet today. It's hot here in Ga. I wore shorts and a nice top. I like to be casual on a first meet so he can see what I look like on most days. If we get along and plan a better date I wear a dress or skirt.

Yep I know what you mean. We went to a Mexican restaurant. It was comfortable. We were close to the window so that might have made it warmer.

They would have to go out on a date to be able to explain what they wear.
i see many women at starbucks all alone. would appear they are on a date with that cup of cappuccino and they seem to understand how to dress

i enjoy a meal where i can sit, enjoy, relax, and not be rushed. the starbucks is because ladies like a good cup brew after a relaxing meal. it's just about being comfortable.

Depends on what's the weather like and how much I'm really interested in meeting this guy.
But I've worn everything from dresses, skirts, and low cut blouses, to baggy jeans and turtle neck sweaters.

I tend to chat a while, then talk on the phone, all toll about two weeks and if connected right I can be pretty revealing.
So, by that time, there is enough trust and at ease built up, we just meet and go somewhere and enjoy the day together, without the wondering, or filling out applications, and without over built up expectations.
So...no coffee date has been needed so far.

I messaged a guy who had 3 pics of himself and 7 pics of food he had fixed ~ and he's allergic to cats.
I told him since he can't be around cats, I should bring a bottle of whatever he likes to drink and he could cook me a yummy dinner.
Ya know, bein a smartass.
His reply:
