what you do when you are not arguing on Datehookup.

Depends on the time of day and day of the week...could be anything from commuting to and from work, to sleeping to fapping, to eating, to drinking, to cleaning the toilet, to making sausage casserole etc etc...the possibilities are endless.

This one is simple and yet delicious.

1lb sausage...I use Italian
2 or 3 onions...chopped up
4 or 5 cans of stewed tomatoes
2 tablespoons of
Oregano, sage (or parsley..or both), basil

precook the sausages...I usually just cook em in the oven...chop them up when done into bite sized pieces
Saute the onions in butter
add the tomatoes and herbs and chopped up sausage...
simmer for 15 mins or so...
Serve with Mashed potatoes...or just eat it on it's own with lots of bread to sop up the goodness

Easy, cheap and delicious...I made a big batch this past weekend.

I always make a big batch when cooking and freeze into individual meals so I just have to nuke it for 6-8 mins for a hot home made meal any time of day or night.

That sounds delicious. I'm saving this and try in the weekend. Yeah I like to use the bread too.

What type of tomatoes? I know stewed but cherry types, pear, or it doesn't matter?

Well here you buy the tin which says "Stewed"...I guess you could use other types but if you can find stewed buy stewed...the flavor is different I think..and they are already cooked (duh) which again affects the flavor compared with just regular tomatoes/tinned tomatoes...I think using something like tinned diced tomatoes etc would alter the taste...could try it though if they don't sell stewed where you are...I'd just cook them a little longer and maybe adjust the herbs as necessary.

You'll be surprised how tasty it is for so few ingredients.

I bet is tasty.

There are different and many kind of tomatoes here. I usually like to cook them fresh myself, even when I use them as a sauce. I imagine those sweet ones would be perfect for this. I'll try and let you know the result. I'm not sure about the type of the sausage though. You say italian but there are many. Describe the taste? The strong one?

I think the tinned tomatoes work better than fresh ones but you can try...I'd really advice you use the stewed ones first though if you can find them...

As for the sausage it really doesn't matter...whatever type you like...back home I'd use pork and beef sausage but the American versions of that here are worthless...Americans don't know how to make a good sausage to save their lives.

Pick a somewhat mild but slightly spice one I'd say.

No we have them. I just thought fresh might be better. But yeah I suppose the taste is better with stewed ones. And I know just the right type of sausage to use.

Strange that in USA they don't make good sausages. They are good with meat.

Tinyprick is f**ked up lately. It does the same with my pics. Now I am using Imgur.

The pic was to demonstrate to alba who is in Italy...and appeared not to have stewed tomatoes there at the time or at least not called stewed tomatoes.

Clearly it's a stock photo and not one from my personal tinned veggie/fruit collection.

Only an idiot would shop at walmart when an Aldi is available..it's quite insulting to suggest Walmart as the source for my stewed tomatoes so I will get my knickers in a wad if I choose to.

This post made no sense.

GV is a generic product, it is not a place.
And if you know he said he bought them at Aldi's why would you say
he bought them from somewhere else?
