Damn, Sparks -- when I was married I claimed my female duties: house keeping, cooking, laundry, painting the house (inside & out), repairing the car, mowing the lawn, child rearing, making clothes, as 'relaxing' exercise and my wifely duties as fun & games.

Both "femile wiles" kept me in control of everything.

And I worked full-time and remained married for 32 years.

Perhaps I have special 'traits' that many women these days don't know anything about.

I don't consider what I did as "multi-tasking". I considered it as love.

Women are very capable of taking care of more than men

Christ,,being single is soooo much easier than raising children and taking care of a mans needs..

Think about it..
Most women work,still do 99% of cooking,cleaning,childcare,
As well as taking care of mens needs..

I can see why women get stressed out,they multitask constantly

a man usually goes to work for 8 hours
while a woman tends to everything else

and men expect it

Well, then why don't women stop getting pregnant and avoid men altogether?

In a lot of relationships a woman has to carry a man like an adult child! They can't balance a checkbook and a family budget and can't or dont want to change diapers n help with the household chores!

Sparks if anyone thinks this is a man-bashing thread then they aren't reading. Enig, the last time I participated in these forums you were still in that "HEAD" you in now. Truly get some counselling. You're bitter and that's sad. I pray you'll find some peace and I mean that.

Well, I probably agree to a greater part because a lot of men are just damn lazy. I don't think there is nothing to argue about here. Men that aren't lazy will jump in or initiate actions to keep a household together and keep things tranquil. In my world men were "hunters and gatherers" and also helped with the house and participated greatly with the children. Heck I was coach, driver, daddy to many kids(figuratively) and the whole shooting match. You got to be all in or get the hell out. Women are sooo nurturing if they have a good heart and kind soul. Men can be these things but not like a woman.

In most of the relationships I see, including ones I've been in........

The work load may not always be 50/50, but it's pretty close and tends to fluctuate with what needs to be done.

I think each person brings something to the table and each tends to have their area of expertise.
