Quote from cupocheer:

The Russia investigation was on-going and involved both Trump and Clinton and Russian interference in US presidential election 2016.

Isn't ^that what he was trying to emphasize? That Comey, could go publically saying that the investigation into Clinton(about Russian interference) has been completed, but in fact; it's still an ongoing investigation, according to Comey, but yet, Comey couldn't for some reason do the same for the Trump admin, when he's been blatantly telling the President, himself, he's not being investigated. hmmmm. and odd how Comey could "leak" information about Flynn to a reporter- but not that Trump isn't being investigated.

MaCain, was correct in bringing forward there seems to be some form of double standard, in informing the American citizens about the 'truth' about the Trump Administration.

shouldn't you be more mad at Comey, Walt, than of Trump?

Comey not only saved Trump by making it clear Trump [was never] a suspect, and that Trump was on board about busting anyone even in his own cabinet, and the news was [lying] about Trump the entire time, plus gave McCain "AMMO" to go after Clinton and tie her with Russia?

The United States population is around 325 million (325,000,000) people. You're saying that 1% of those people are running the country and in the government. That would mean you think over 3 million (3,000.000) people are in the government.

You have just made the most absurdly incorrect statement yet in this thread. I never thought I'd say this but you might be too dumb for DH.

from TIME so it is 100% credible or TIME would not print it:

http://time.com/4811712/comey-testimony-marc-kasowitz-transcript/

Read Kasowitz's statement below.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am Marc Kasowitz, President [sic] Trump's personal lawyer.
Contrary to numerous false press accounts leading up to today's hearing, Mr. Comey has now finally confirmed publicly what he repeatedly told President Trump privately: That is , that the President was not under investigation as part of any probe into Russian interference. The President - MR. Comey He also admitted that there is no evidence that a single vote changed as a result of any Russian interference.

Mr. Comey's testimony also makes clear that the President never sought to impede the investigation into attempted Russian interference in the 2016 election and in fact, according to Mr. Comey, the President told Mr. Comey quote "it would be good to find out" closed quote in that investigation if there was quote "some satellite associates of his who did something wrong," closed quote. And he, President Trump, did not exclude anyone from that statement.

Consistent with that statement, the President never in form or substance, directed or suggested that Mr. Comey stop investigating anyone, including the President never suggested that that Mr. Comey quote "let Flynn go" closed quote. As the President publicly stated the next day, he did say to Mr. Comey, quote "General Flynn is a good guy, he has been through a lot" quote and also quote "asked how General Flynn is doing" closed quote Admiral Rogers testified that the President never quote "directed [him] to do anything .... illegal, immoral, unethical or inappropriate" closed quote and never never quote "pressured [him] to do so" closed quote. Director Coates said the same thing.

The President likewise never pressured Mr. Comey.

The President also never told Mr. Comey, quote "I need loyalty, I expect loyalty" closed quote. He never said it in form and he never said it in substance.Of course, the Office of the President is entitled to expect loyalty from those who are serving the administration, and from before this President took office to this day, it is overwhelmingly clear that there have been and continue to be those in government who are actively attempting to undermine this administration with selective and illegal leaks of classified information and privileged communications.

Mr. Comey has now admitted that he is one of these leakers.

Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he unilaterally and surreptitiously made unauthorized disclosures to the press of privileged communications with the President. The leaks of this privileged information began no later than March 2017 when friends of Mr. Comey have stated he disclosed to them the conversations he had with the President during their January 27, 2017 dinner and February 14, 2017 White House meeting.

Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he leaked to friends of his purported memos of those privileged conversations, one of which he testified was classified. Mr. Comey also testified that immediately after he was terminated he authorized his friends to leak the contents of those memos to the press in order to, in Mr. Comey's words, quote "prompt the appointment of a special counsel." Closed quote.

Although Mr. Comey testified he only leaked the memos in response to a tweet, the public record reveals that the New York Times was quoting from these memos the day before the referenced tweet, which belies Mr. Comey's excuse for this unauthorized disclosure of privileged information and appears to entirely retaliatory. We will leave it to the appropriate authorities to determine whether these leaks should be investigated along with all the others that are being investigated.

In sum, it is now established that the President was not being investigated for colluding with or attempting to obstruct any investigation. As the Committee pointed out today, these important facts for the country to know are virtually the only facts that have not leaked during the course of these events. As he said yesterday, the President feels completely vindicated and is eager to continue moving forward with his agenda, with the business of this country, and with the public cloud removed.

this indeed was a very historical day for TRUMP

You're such a gullible and ignorant fool, Rimmer/Iam. After four attorneys turned down offers to be a lying mouthpiece for the disgusting animal in the WH, he grabs a real estate and divorce attorney. But according to trump...all news about him is fake news...soooooo why wouldn't this be fake?...If we conclude that comey told the truth about this...then we can also conclude that he is telling the truth about everything else...maybe trump wasn't involved in the Russian election stuff but also maybe just maybe he is guilty of obstruction of justice by asking comey to drop the investigation against the other guy...so which is it...he is telling the truth or he isn't?.....

Hell, there are more than 3 million police officers alone. Add in military, department workers, post office, court workers, inspectors, customs etc etc, (not to mention government contractors) a good 5% - 10% of the population is with the government

People will try to debunk it.. But its true.
Just look at how we vaule money as if money itself somehow manifests resources.
When the resources were already there to begin with.
And dont even get me start on the drug industry.

Apoligists?
I have yet to see anything Trump has done in office he needs to apologise for. There are things I disagree with (such as removing some privacy protection laws) but all in all, he's been in office 4 months and it has gone better than expected. The withdrawal from the Paris accord was actually a smart move, and he has reduced the tensions between us and Russia. He has also taken a strong stance against China which has been SORELY needed, and he has forced the EU to actually consider strengthening their own military rather than rely on us... which is 30 years overdue.
He has made some diplomatic blunders, yes but we expected it. He is not a career politician. He will hopefully learn from his mistakes.
But honestly, it's going better than expected.

indeed, and according to the vote [the same sentiments (shared) of the committee] that heard the testimony of Comey. go sharpen your tool and try to be less dull

Your brain has been pierced too many times by sitting on pins, there was no "vote" on anything by any committee.

they were going to vote but Comey admitted to [leaking] and they want those notes Comey sent to his friend. forgot about Rubio requesting that.

It's pointless to chuck your non-point points down the toilet, where they belong. Where you see humans that don't even know the meaning of the word 'apologist' it's not overly surprising that they would have a neofascistic ignoramus as their leader.

the French chicken shitted out of Kuwait leaving England to get butt pounded by saddam before Bush (1) deployed us to cover up 2 failures. there is absolutely no need requiring u.s. blood to be shed for pussies like the French!!

Go eat some "freedom fries," learn history (skip the sciences and English, you abysmally failed them) and attempt to stop embarrassing yourself more than you have over the last 2 trillion miles.

and Comey even made it clear to McCain that CLINTON could still be involved with Russia.

That's not what Comey said, read the transcripts of his testimony.
