I think the word you want is "pique," not "peak."
yes, you are correct. I am better in German.
Ich habe Stille Nacht auch Deutsch und Franzoesisch. I am hoping that with asking other people, I will be able to find ones which I don't have prior experience with and are not limited to just Christmas, which is where my library is focused.
FYI - 2014 was the 100th anniversary of the Carol which stopped a War and 2018 is the 200th anniversary of the first performance of it. That being Stille Nacht (Silent Night).

Hello!!
I am trying to share the love of missionary work with the children at our church. I want to teach them simple songs in different languages to help peak their interests.
I have Jesus Loves Me in German, but would like it in other languages (including how to properly say the words). I would also like other Christian songs, preferably children's songs since they are normally easier on new speakers of the language.
I would like to find just other languages of the songs we are all used to singing anyway.
If you have any you can share, please post. If you know a reliable site, please share that.
Thank you

thanks lud, but it does not provide the proper translation for songs. With songs you have to consider a lot more than just a direct translation. google translate can't handle that

Also, try Youtube for foreign language versions of things such as Christmas carols, and you can probably type in the name of your songs at Google and ask to get the German (or whatever) lyrics.

Stille Nacht
One of the most famous Christmas carols in the world, "Stille Nacht" was composed in Austria in the early 19th century. The lyrics were written by the assistant priest Joseph Mohr and the melody was composed by teacher Franz Gruber. According to Gruber, it was sung for the first time at the Christmas Eve mass in Oberdorf near Salzburg in 1818. By mid-century, translations into English as "Silent Night" had appeared, and by the turn of the 20th century, the tune was being sung all over the world.
Lyrics
Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht
Alles schläft, einsam wacht
nur das traute hochheilige Paar,
holder Knabe im lockigen Haar,
Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh
schlaf in himmlischer Ruh.
Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Gottes Sohn! O wie lacht
Lieb´ aus deinem göttlichen Mund,
Da schlägt uns die rettende Stund´.
Jesus in deiner Geburt!
Jesus in deiner Geburt!
Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Die der Welt Heil gebracht,
Aus des Himmels goldenen Höhn
Uns der Gnaden Fülle lässt seh´n
Jesum in Menschengestalt,
Jesum in Menschengestalt.
Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Wo sich heut alle Macht
Väterlicher Liebe ergoss
Und als Bruder huldvoll umschloss
Jesus die Völker der Welt,
Jesus die Völker der Welt.
Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Lange schon uns bedacht,
Als der Herr vom Grimme befreit,
In der Väter urgrauer Zeit
Aller Welt Schonung verhieß,
Aller Welt Schonung verhieß.
Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Hirten erst kundgemacht
Durch der Engel Alleluja,
Tönt es laut bei Ferne und Nah:
Jesus der Retter ist da!
Jesus der Retter ist da!
Douce nuit
This is a French version of the popular and well-known Christmas carol, Silent Night, which was originally written in German.
Douce nuit
Douce nuit, sainte nuit !
Dans les cieux ! L'astre luit.
Le mystère annoncé s'accomplit
Cet enfant sur la paille endormi,
C'est l'amour infini !
C'est l'amour infini !
Saint enfant, doux agneau !

Silent Night is the best. I like it any time of the year.
Hard to think of it having been written in German first, being so used to the English version.

Speaking of Christian songs, and I don't mean to change the subject but I like non-Christian (or secular?) religious or spiritual songs too. And there are a lot of them, or some of them, out there hiding under the radar, like Rod Stewart's "Sailing."
I am sailing
I am sailing
Home again
'Cross the sea
I am sailing,
Stormy waters
To be near you,
To be free
I am flying,
I am flying
Like a bird
'Cross the sky
I am flying,
Passing high clouds
To be with you,
To be free
Can you hear me, can you hear me
Through the dark night, far away
I am dying, forever crying
To be with you, who can say
Can you hear me, can you hear me
Through the dark night far away
I am dying, forever crying
To be with you, who can say
We are sailing, we are sailing
Home again
'Cross the sea
We are sailing
Stormy waters
To be near you,
To be free
Oh Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh Lord

I like hymns in Latin, especially Tantum Ergo, a hymn eritten by St. Thomas Aquinas in the thirteenth century about the Holy Eucharist.

Wash Your Spirit Clean
This song is by Walela and appears on the album Walela (1997).

Give away the things you don't need
Let it all go and you'll soon see
And you'll wash your spirit clean
Wash your spirit clean
and you'll wash you spirit clean)
Give away the things you don't need
Let it all go and you'll soon see
And you'll wash your spirit clean
Wash your spirit clean
Go and pray upon a mountain
Go and pray beside the ocean
And you'll wash your spirit clean
Wash Your spirit clean
Be grateful for the struggle
Be thankful for the lessons
And you'll wash your spirit clean
Hi Nv Ga La Ja Da Nv To
