one geneticist diagnosed the human species only had a genetics to survive around 6,000 years on this planet. he being an atheist contradicts evolution and when man first appeared. but it is interesting the genetics we have based against our predecessors of humanity as a species is diagnosed as only capable of sustaining life for 6,000 years.

Another nut...any extinction that might happen in 6k years wouldn't have anything to do with genetics...unless some crazy virus came along but then why 6k years?..that could happen next year!

There are really only a few ways we could be extinct in 6k years

Self destruction
Catastrophic event
Viral/bacterial (and even then there would probably be pockets of survivors...)

the new suggestion and urgency to find another planet and begin relocating within 75 years seems cukoo to me as well, but those within science are preaching it like it was Christ returned about to return.

Some are...there are hundreds of thousands of people working in Science..probably millions globally...a few vocal nuts don't speak for everyone.
