I was very amused by an NBC story the other day. They ran a story to point out the 'context' of statements made. I'm glad they did that, but honestly, haven't seen them do that for a long long time. And I question whether they will do it again.

When you watch the media twist it, edit it, you know the media is promoting an opinion simply to excite the ignorant. I tend to agree! Comey could have turned down the dinner, and said it was not appropriate.
Or he could have said he would attend, but only if there were going to be witnesses.
Or, he could have said to Trump, when the others were asked to leave, "Sorry Mr. President, it's time for me to leave too".
What he should have said, after he was asked, "I do hope you find your way to end the investigation of Flynn, "Mr. president, you are borderline "Obstructing Justice" so no, don't ask me to ever do that again!
Here is why Comey played Trump's game- to gather evidence of course. This was his way to personally investigate president Trump without him being "Officially" under investigation.
He is an investigator and he went to the meetings with Trump to investigate!
Simple as that!
Trust me, Comey always has ulterior motives in everything he does.
Just like when he cleared Hillary of wrongdoing but then blasted her a** with the "Careless" crap and swaying public opinion of her!
It was for personal political motivations.
He still hasn't gotten over the Whitewater hearings where Hillary and Bill made him look like an idiot as a prosecutor in those hearings! So he obviously had a bone to pick and that is how he carried it out after all these years!

I could be totally off base here and this just me, no fact, just a sense. My sense is that Mr Comey was totally played by Obama and Clinton and is rather pissed at himself for being a dupe.
This unmasking thing, it's brewing. It wasn't brought up today for whatever reason, but I think it's lurking and I think a lot of Congress people are really pissed about it, especially as it's becoming clear Mr Obama did it to them too.
