Umm, I don't see a topic about this on here... The libs are hypocrites, as usual, as Cali has made a travel ban, based on states that cali feels are discriminatory against the LGBTQ community.

Because it's not a personal ban.
And it's not based on religion.
The law bans state-funded or state-sponsored travel by employees of state agencies and departments as well as members of boards, authorities, and commissions.
Support for the list
The ACLU of Northern California and Rick Zbur with Equality California applauded the state's decision to widen the ban.
"These discriminatory laws in Texas, North Carolina, South Dakota, and other states are completely out of step with the values that make California the vibrant economic powerhouse that it is," Zbur said. "t is imperative that California continue to denounce those actions publicly and financially."
There are exceptions to the ban, however. For example, if travel is required to maintain grant funding or licensure, or for auditing and revenue collection purposes.
And of course, anyone can travel to any of the states on the list in a personal capacity.
Doublepee would be whining if any state said All Christians and Jews were banned from entering.

Yes, it's about religion. It's the atheist religion's beliefs that homosexuality and transgenderism are normal.

Some people believe that walking on fire, and "handling of serpents" is normal as well.
That doesn't mean that they should be prevented from shopping at the store of their choice.
And then there's that whole "water turning into wine thing".
PS. Slaughter any goats or chickens lately?

Wouldn't travel bans due to GLBT issues be a preference instead of a belief?

As usual, you are mislabeling everyone.
In addition to completely misrepresenting the travel ban, you insist that if ONE person does something, that EVERYONE who fits under the label which you have personally assigned to them, is responsible for their actions.
Since you consistently refuse to do the same thing for the people and labeled groups you LIKE, it makes YOU the only true hypocrite of your own post.

For those who haven't looked it up, including the original poster, the "travel ban" is a ban on STATE FUNDING for officials of the state government who are traveling to, or welcoming paid state visitors to California.
In other words, calling it a "travel ban," in order to pretend that it's just like Trump's attempts to ban EVERYONE who wants to come here from certain nations who he is personally prejudiced against, is functionally a lie.

Lovely spin...
California enacted a law in regard
to state reimbursement, for state employees,
who travel to states, that aren't on par,
with California's f*g equality laws.
Effectively banning, travel to four states.

I didn't misrepresent it. I just didn't go into full details. I already knew what it is and it is still CALLED a travel ban by news media themselves, ie CNN.
viper needs to look up definitions.
I should move to cali and marry a hot 18 yo actress.

You're saying that you knew that the media was misrepresenting it, and decided to pile on to their errors. You chose to SUPPORT their interpretation. That's what this thread you started is about: your support for their label. A bit late to pretend otherwise.

i am a single, white, christian, conservative,,,And I could care less what the d*ck smokers are doing to each other,,,I would rather live next door to a couple rump rangers that keep their place clean over a straight redneck couple with torn up cars in the driveway & dirty kids with saggy diapers and 12 dogs in the unmowed yard.
Who lives next door to me when I am blasting the neighborhood with Black Sabbath & Iron Maiden is irrelevant to me

Texas puts up billboard along highways mocking California travel ban: political refugees in Texas are from California, most of our refugees are from there: See the link: https://www.prisonplanet.com/texas-mocks-california-travel-ban-most-our-new-residents-are-from-there.html
California is losing residents because of their insane socialism and taxes. Working people want out, and who can blame them? The State of Illinois is now also teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. It would be the first State to go bankrupt. California won't be too far behind it. It expects the Federal Government to bail it out, but I don't think that will happen. Hope not anyway.

I'll bet if you ever managed to site a respectable source, the earth would probably stop spinning on its rotational axis.
Maybe you haven't been keeping up with current events, but California has the 4th largest economy on the planet. Between Hollywood and theme parks, they have no need for any money.
And that's just the legal stuff! Apparently you were not aware that Humboldt County has a five BILLION dollar a year industry in the illicit marijuana business.
I think maybe you might have been overmedicated this time, because you appear to be hallucinating.

Eh, Slayer is ok. But I never really understood what was so great about them. Just another Thrash band. I absolutely love metal & the harder the better. But I like what is being called now days as "clean vocals" I am not a big fan of Screaming, growling & throwing up on the mic.
But back to your point,,I just moved into a 3rd story Apt a few months back. so door knockers are not a problem here. But before that I inherited 15K when my dad died and bought a pick up and a 35'' Dutchman travel trailer & lived in it on private property way out in the country for a couple years. Got tired of the country so the last 2 years had it parked in a campground in OKC. It was cool but there was a HUGE Baptist church across the street and because it was a campground with people always coming and going. the church it seemed like almost every freaking day was sending door knockers across the street to us and door knocking inviting people to visit their church. and of course the Jehovah Witness door knockers about once a week. After a month i was sick of it. So I printed off a sign and laminated it that read in big bold letters "THIS IS A SATANIC HOUSE, ALL OTHER RELIGIONS WILL BE BURNED AT THE STAKE" then hung it on my door. the next 3 years i lived there NOBODY seeking to save me from my sins ever knocked on my door
