Oh Sassy I'm so sorry I can't even imagine the pain and grief.

why in my youth I rambled around across the country by myself hiking from place to place.
I wasn't lost. I found the open road to nowhere particular peaceful.
they still don't understand it.

I hate all drunk drivers. There is NO excuse for driving drunk, none. If you get drunk at a bar or a friends house, then take a f**king cab. NO you are not okay to drive. Sad thing is most drunks can drive at least 100 times before getting caught. And, if they do get caught, they can get a so called lawyer that only works with drunk drivers, and they probably get off with just a fine.

I 100% agree.
A few months ago, cops had this girl locked up for drunk driving, held her for 24 hours, let her go, gave her back her car 48hrs later she killed a man in a drunk driving accident!!!!!


In NM drunk driving accidents are through the roof, its bad enough that most people here can't drive then then drink and things get 10x worse.

RubyRose- I am choosing to address your remark about how men talk about women.


In this medium some of the men say things behind the anonymity of a computer screen that they would never have the guts to say in the real world.

I am a financial advisor who works with a lot of women. I also facilitate a workshop on women going through divorce.

For centuries, women mistakenly think that if they "just love the drunk, druggie, cheater, chronically unemployed, felon or abuser ENOUGH things will work out and everyone will live happily ever after. Sometimes women just have low or no self esteem.

Why? Because women are the nurturers, caretakers, etc.

Oftentimes, the women don't have the vocational training or college education and career to provide themselves a modicum of financial security. Even bright women are uncomfortable talking about money and how to spend on the household and put money away for retirement. They foolishly, throw caution to the wind and hope for the best.

These men can only get away with treating women this way because they find the women who are willing to settle for so little.

A better conversation might be teaching women their worth, encouraging them to obtain an education and show them what a "HEALTHY" relationship looks like.
