I'm not sure that I want a news media that is so afraid that this administration and it's rabid followers will chew them into obscurity on strict orders from the Presidential Twitter account, that they feign ignorance of the necessary questions needed to discover the truth. The exact opposite vice is what got them in a credibility snafu over the Iraq War. If I knew that I couldn't win no matter who's narrative I parroted if any...I'd choose to either be on the right side of history or make a crap ton of money.
I'm not entirely sure what NBC is doing, but they're currently challenging Fox News for cable news dominance for the first time in decades, so...there's that.

What I think is that everyone who follows the news, even badly, knows that Fox is a mouth piece of the Republican party, and that he's just a thin skinned man, who thinks that the only free speech that deserves legitimacy in America is the that which satisfies his massive ego - and we Americans, being the simpletons that we are, have married that psychosis up to real power.

What portion of the population that could be considered a "large mass" are you even talking about Jill? More than half of households who participate in food banks or similar programs with and without children have at least one working adult in them.

Shepard Smith had another one of his trademark, great-TV, Fox News-rogue moments yesterday when, already in conversation with colleague Chris Wallace, he got news that as many as eight people were in that controversial 2016 Donald Trump Jr. meeting.
At one point, he even seemed to directly address his Fox viewers to remind them that, no, this isn’t fake news. (If you missed it, watch a clip below).
“Why is it lie after lie after lie?,” an angry Smith asked Wallace, rhetorically, about the latest disclosure (that bit was not included in the tweet below). “The deception is mind-boggling and there are still people out there who believe we’re making it up.”
Smith was chatting with Wallace about Jared Kushner, the first son-in-law who “went back and added 100 names and places” to a disclosure form about Russian contacts but failed to include all the names of the meeting attendees.
“We’re still not clean on this, Chris,” Smith said, before launching into the highlight of the segment:
“They tell us there’s nothing to this,” Smith said, building steam, “that nothing came of it, it’s a nothingburger, it wasn’t even memorable, I didn’t write it down, didn’t tell you about it because it wasn’t anything so I didn’t even remember it!”
Wallace was left momentarily silent, then got his footing. “You know, I don’t know what to say,” Wallace said, adding, “there’s a lot of truth to what you said.”
