Enigma, where in Michigan did you go to? Tell me about this Pizza place
Place called Klavon's Pizzeria & Pub.
Owner has two of them, in that area, which the one I went to was off of MI Rte 50/U.S. Rte 127 interchange.
Ohio is still in the dinosaur ages, I swear.
They had touchscreen tablets(looked like iPad Air models) for viewing the menu, a patio, restaurant booths, and high tables, as well as a bar area. There was even a transformer mannequin on display. And it had two floors. We had to wait 55 minutes, for a table. Place was packed!!!
My friend is moving to Germany, soon, so I wanted to get up there to actually meet her in person before she left. We had a great time, and it was great food.
For me, it was a tad out of my current budget. But, sometimes the price tag is no reason to dissuade from just taking a trip, amd getting to see and experience different parts of the country, meeting new people.

And yeah, they top the pizza with marinara sauce. All the cheese and toppings are literally stuffed into two layers of the pizza dough. The experience and company were well worth the trip.

I go to Ann Arbor a few times a year. I will head over there next time I am there. It's only 45 minutes away. My friend lives 2 hours away. Maybe he will meet me there. It sounds like great food!
I am glad you were able to meet her in person before she went to Germany. You should totally go see her in Germany. That would be an epic trip!
I agree about taking time to enjoy life and factor that into your budget. I know you are laser focused on paying off that debt. It's okay to take time to take a trip and love ourselves. It's always great to meet friends and enjoy their company.
