He's one of those people that are slow to understand the world moved on.
...it's a bit like people who find that sign "You don't have to be mad to work here but it helps!" funny...sure it was funny in 1976...but for most of the world they've moved on from it and find it a tired old cliche now...
..still there are those few who remain and STILL think it's f**king hilarious...turtle man was one of those people...don't waste your time trying to understand them, just accept they exist and are out there.
