I would agree IF men actually had a choice in the matter.

Yes, men can choose not to have unprotected sex, BUT women can too and if a woman gets pregnant BOTH SHE AND the man are responsible, NOT JUST the man.

HOWEVER, the decision to bring a child into the world is SOLELY the woman's. It is here where equal.responsibility and fairness ends and the responsibility shifts SOLELY to the woman, especially if the man expresses that he does NOT want to be a father.

Men aren't the ones who end up actually pregnant

If women want to go their own way, let them. It is not like they care about men any way. MOST(not all) women are saying how they do not need a man anyway.

What?

did you just wake up from a 70 year comma ???

women have been going their own way for quite a while now.

Except for when they fall....then they need a man to catch them...

so, basically its superficial and only on the surface.

Those that do either end up dead or in Jail. You have to conform to what society expects or you are rejected by society.

Well, in general its harder for men to get women, then the other way around.. ..so allow may not be the right word.... "put up with it" might be the real deal here.

and its the laws too....the libs have instituted laws where a man can get locked up, if he tries to carry on what use to be tradition....and that applies to many other things in our current society....or having free speech or opinions.

I think a man and woman can work together and have a great life. Problem is usually one is a drain on the relationship. Most (not all) men feel a sense of entitlement. When I was married I would take my lunch to work. The ex would go out for lunch. Sometimes leaving big tips I got to pay the majority of the bills. While the ex spent money on hobbies. I got to cut grass, laundry, house cleaning. While the ex spent time on the hobbies. I was washing my own car 8 months pregnant. While the ex paid someone to wash his truck.
Men say women need their help. Of course we do. We would like to sleep sometime and play with the kids. But help never comes so we file for divorce and raise the kids alone.

I was just on another dating site yesterday and a woman asked "Why is it so hard to find someone to love?"

My answer to her question was...

"Because MOST people are generally selfish."

Which is what you and MANY others have confirmed with your various stories.

MOST people want the help of others, but are reluctant, if not totally unwilling to help others, even those they CLAIM to love.

I paid off $11,000 in credit card debit for my ex. I cooked for him eveyday and did his laundry. Took care of him day and night when he got hurt. When I met my son in laws mother she said Logan said my husband was like one of my kids. What about my earlier post makes it seem I'm selfish?

I don't make them do anything.

I wasn't paying for love. I was already married and pregnant and paying off debt instead of 30% interest made financial sense for a couples future.

Well no not historically. It's only our self imposed laws (by men) that make it so

For the vast majority of human history if you fancied a bit, you took it.

I wasn't insinuating that YOU are selfish. In the example of your marriage, your ex husband was selfish.

I was simply pointing out that when one examines the causes for relationships ending, in MOST cases, the bottom line causative was selfishness. The key to a long lasting relationship is compromise and selfish people generally do not compromise.

Stats seem to indicate that women are generally more selfish than men.

NO, there is no poll asking that specific question of men & women, but if you look at the stats of the various dating/marriage related polls, it seems pretty clear that women expect MORE from men than men expect from women.

Keep in mind, expectation and desire are 2 different words, with different meanings.

Example, one study shows that most women work white collar jobs, meaning most women sit on their asses and perform light physical labor for a living, while most men work blue collar jobs, meaning most men perform anywhere from moderate to intense physical labor, meaning most men put their bodies through quite a bit of physical stress for a living, yet most women expect those men to come home and also perform most of the physical labor there and many single women think they are superior to men who work blue collar jobs.

In the old days (30s-50s) women understood that men did most of the difficult (and humiliating) work in society and thus were happy to be their relief when they got home from a hard day's work.

TODAY a woman who works in an office typing a few papers and talking on the phone all day (in between gossiping with coworkers and stuffing her face) comes home and acts as if she's been grueling away all day.

They don't have to do physical type jobs. That's their choice. Just be glad you don't have to be ripped in half to have kids. Most men knock most women up

True, but that means women contribute LESS to society than men.

This is ALSO a woman's CHOICE in ALL cases except that of rape.

Rubbish. I'm sure the women from the 50% of unwanted pregnancies didn't consciously consent to being impregnated.

Men should take more responsibility for knocking women up.

Actually you know what, my sister got knocked up while on the pill because she was taking antibiotics. And while talking to me was like "etc before (sister) got knocked up"

Like duuude you f**king knocked her up. Like the typical lazy irresponsible male not trying to use contraception and protect himself. Relying on the female to do all the work.

Now our whole family has to move. I'm pretty angry about the whole situation

Xman things have changed. I met my ex at work. I was in quality which might be considered light work and he was a mold tech heavy work. But he took 30 minutes on a 10 minute break and 2 hours for a 30 minute lunch. I spent my day walking all over the plant and if there was a problem I was stacking and unstacking boxes.

Now he is a pipe fitter. Tough job right? He called me about a month ago because taco bell was giving away free tacos. Him and his coworker were driving from town to town eating.

We've touched on this before. It's each person's own responsibility to protect his/herself.

If I have unprotected sex with a woman who told me she didn't have any STDs and end up contracting an STD, then ULTIMATELY it will have been MY own fault for simply taking her word and not making her prove it with test results.

If a woman DOESN'T want to get pregnant and the man DOESN'T want to wear a condom, then the woman should tell him "No glove, no love."

The WOMAN MUST be ok with taking that risk if she is willing to have unprotected sex with a man.

That's HER CHOICE. Right?

Thus HER responsibility. The same is true for the man. Each are gambling with their lives.

Not really, the guy doesn't end up pregnant. She does. He doesn't really give a shi.T.
If more men actually did, perhaps not as many women would wind up pregnant by accident.
Because they give a crap about the woman and exposing her to that risk.

Not really what?

Are you saying a woman has NO choice in the matter but to have unprotected sex with a man?

It's VERY SIMPLE. If I were a woman and I wanted to have sex but NOT get pregnant...

1. I'd do so when I'm NOT ovulating.

2. I'd make the guy wear a condom. If he refuses, I'll pleasure myself.

3. I'll have a morning after pill on standby, just in case the condom breaks.

WHY is it the man's responsibility to protect the woman? He would then be assuming responsibility for himself and her, totally not fair. That's lazy & selfish on the woman's part.

You act as ONLY the man enjoys sex and if a woman DOESN'T enjoy, then she shouldn't do it.

You obviously have no experience being with men or knowing what they are like.
Men don't like condoms.
They are more likely to take risks and want to take risks.

Yet again, saying its up to the woman to make the guy do this and that and take the morning after pill herself.
What are men? Fvcking incompetent?

Because men are clearly to stupid and lazy and generally don't give a shjt about the woman to actually take the initiative to put the condom on himself. Oh my god yes, without threats or being demanded to! Shock horror!

Or actually having some actual concern about risking her getting pregnant and insisting on multiple forms of protection.

By the way, the "ovulation" charting is extremely unreliable method of birth control. Lol

1. I'm a man, so I know about men.

2. A man who is concerned for his own health will wear a condom.

Let's assume the guy doesn't care if the woman gets pregnant or not. If SHE cares and has any concern for her own health, then she will insist he wear a condom.

3. Ovulation chart has worked just fine for me. I used it quite effectively to conceive my daughter as well as preventing pregnancies since.

It's only unreliable if a woman has an abnormal cycle.

Wrong, statistically it is not reliable.
Your individual experience is one out of many of which many others failed.

If HE has any concern for HER and HER health he will insist on a condom or other multiple methods.

It should not matter if he cares or not. SHE most definitely SHOULD care about her OWN health and well being.

Let's say it's a 1 night stand. Of course the guy probably doesn't care about the woman, but SHE should care enough to protect herself.

If the guy cares, he WILL do whatever will please the woman.

1. Since it takes 2 to tango, women who experience unexpected pregnancies are EQUALLY as irresponsible, stupid and lazy as the men who fathered the children.

2. If a woman decides to keep a child of an unexpected pregnancy, then CLEARLY she WANTED the child, so no problem. Right?

Men aren't the ones who end up actually pregnant
Women should learn to keep their legs closed, demand condoms, or get on birth control.

Quote from xman379:
I was just on another dating site yesterday and a woman asked "Why is it so hard to find someone to love?"

My answer to her question was...

"Because MOST people are generally selfish."

Which is what you and MANY others have confirmed with your various stories.

MOST WOMEN want the help of MEN, but are reluctant, if not totally unwilling to help MEN, even those they CLAIM to love.
Fixed that for you.

They don't have to do physical type jobs. That's their choice. Just be glad you don't have to be ripped in half to have kids. Most men knock most women up
Guess Eve shouldn't have listened to the Serpent, in the Garden of Eden, huh.....

And nobody MAKES you have children. You can CHOOSE to have sex or NOT.

And if women hated pregnancy so much, they should be knocking all over my door, since I am fixed.

But women LOVE being ripped in half to squeeze out a meal ticket, that gets them FREE stuff and rewards for their irresponsible behavior, hence why my inbox is full of cobwebs, instead of booty calls.

I have YET to hear about a woman getting ripped in half to have a child. I do not think they would live through that.

They don't rip in half like you're imagining.

If a woman is told to stop pushing but she continues
to push it can cause tears or grazes that need stitches.

I was stitched up with my first because I didn't listen

To pee near killed me

I think it can just tear anyway, no matter if you push when you're meant to vs not meant to.
My mum had over 100 stitches from me. Labor was like 36 hrs. I didn't wanna be born lol

Mine was exactly like your mums and all my sons were near the 10lb mark
I didn't have 100 stitches and if your mum had 100 stitches she would
of more than likely had a blood transfusion.

Your mum will tell you she didn't listen because with my next
5 sons I listened even though it was so bloody hard I didn't
need to be stitched.

When you give birth there are techniques that we
must listen too when told too you don't just push
and they slide out

Pushing out the head is the killer once the shoulders are out they slide out.

Placenta Accreta: Symptoms, Risks And Treatment

The placenta normally attaches to the uterine wall, however there is a condition that occurs where the placenta attaches itself too deeply into the wall of the uterus.

This condition is known as placenta accreta, placenta increta, or placenta percreta depending on the severity and deepness of the placenta attachment.

The above happened to me twice I was awake as they grabbed
the cord of my placenta and pulled and pulled like they were
playing a game of tug of war.

I couldn't cough nor sneeze nor laugh for a whole year.

I don't think I was that big.
I think she was supposed to have a C section but it didn't end up happening and
they lost my heart beat and stuff so they had to use forceps.

I kept turning around the wrong way too.

Rubbish. I'm sure the women from the 50% of unwanted pregnancies didn't consciously consent to being impregnated.

IMPLIED CONSENT. If they CONSENT to SEX, they CONSENT to the RISK of PREGNANCY.

Men should take more responsibility for knocking women up.
We do. It is called CHILD SUPPORT and TAXES....

Actually you know what, my sister got knocked up while on the pill because she was taking antibiotics. And while talking to me was like "etc before (sister) got knocked up"
This is a well-known medical advisory, that OBGYNS will remind to women on birth control, in the US.

Like duuude you f**king knocked her up. Like the typical lazy irresponsible male not trying to use contraception and protect himself. Relying on the female to do all the work.
Why is your sister dating a lazy, irresponsible man to begin with? Not saying your argument is invalid, because I know what your statements on this story are from Kik. My point is this, he is a lazy bum, and she chose him to date and have sex with. It is only half his fault.

Now our whole family has to move. I'm pretty angry about the whole situation
You do realize that of rent didn't cost $2000+AUD/month, because of your Socialism economic state, your whole family wouldn't need to all stay within the same household, right?

I know MY PAYCHECKS get "ripped in half" from the extortion of having to pay for all their unexpected pregnancies.....

The highly ironic part of all of this: NONE of those children are from MY DNA.....

Well, despite all the bickering, b*tching, and arguing, I am glad you were born. I gotta have somebody of equal bitterness to debate these topics with.
