Eyes. Me too, always have been. Tried my best to be around lots of people, and I did not like it.
I have to 5 days a week.........lotsssssssssssssssssss of ppl. But on my days off ? No way....

I had to work around tons of people too. I believe I feel the emotions and energy of people too much, and that is why I don't like to be around a lot of them at one time. I prefer may two or three people at a time.

That is how I am, most of the time. There are times that I want to be around others, however they are few and far between.
It seems like the older I get, the more alone time I desire.

Not sure that I'm a loner. I work 5 days a week & am around LOTS of people each day I'm at work. I'm not around so many on my days off. I'm fine with spending time to myself, but I also enjoy spending time with family & friends.

That is not even logical. Some loners may do that, but some very social people like Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy were very much to be feared, yet so many trusted and were murdered by them.

I'm both. Not an introvert at all but I like and need my own space. I enjoy doing things alone, such as travelling or even just go out walking, stay at home, read, watch a movie etc. I do love people though and have many friends (few very good and close ones). I'm easy to socialise. So, I do not have a problem with that either.

No... NO I am definitely NOT a loner... I do love having alone time.. to do my own thing.. but I so enjoy lots of company.. being like this made it very easy to travel around the globe on my own to be able to mix, and get around. I can strike up a conversation with just about anyone..
The last time I was taking a trip to the USA, my mother said "STOP talking to everyone, it might be to your detriment.. " made me laugh...
