last week i got on my datehookup im is gone i cant talk to friends online what happen to the IM how do i turn im back on so i can talk to online friends ?
They had some problems with the IM, so the site removed it.
I don't know if it's coming back or not, so I guess you're just stuck with email for now.

Joe, I am having the same problem with my inbox saying I have email but when get there and open it, no mail. Ask for help but haven't been given any help to read my mail. When u send email and check to see if it shows up, but can't find it. I have missed probably a lot of emails and whoever I wrote to, may have never received it. Hoping things will get better. thanks

If you're using a mobile device (cell phone) to access the site then contact your provider there...it could be a problem on their end.

There was a site posted on here somewhere before that would maybe help you...but I can't find it now.
Contact the web tv people and see if they can help you...because apparently from what's been said before the problem is with them, and not this site.

When you go into your account options and view your ignore/block list select the box for the picture of the one you want to remove and then click delete selected.
That will remove him/her from your list.

That happens sometimes...perhaps the site was doing maintenance.

New problem with sending e-mail...
When I click on the "Send Email" link on a profle, the form no longer has the nick-name of the recipient in the "To:" field and I have to type it in manually.

If the one that got deleted was anything like the one you have now, it could be because you changed the default layout of the page.
Whether you did it on purpose, or by accident, you have removed and/or re-arranged at least 20 lines of default code that the site put there.
If you are purposefully trying to use html or css coding....DON'T...you don't know how to use it properly on this site.

There have been many postings about this...nothing has changed, so apparently for the time being the site intends to leave it like it is.
The best opinion I can personally give is that maybe the site does this because that with such a limited search parameter you may not find enough people.
Perhaps they hope that by giving you the extra results maybe you'll find someone you think is interesting and would be willing to extend your distance requirement.

You're probably timing out because it's taking too long for you to write your message.
--Solution A: Don't write so much at one time. (I didn't say it was a good solution. )
---Solution B: If it's possible to do this with your cell phone, when you get through writing you message copy it before trying to send it...that way if it doesn't send then you just refresh your page here, and paste the message back in (this way you won't time out).
Also consider this:
Your message size may be larger than the limit your phone allows you to send at one time.

photo download from cell phone
I, shall try not to SHOUT. I joined end of may. Downloading pics was easy and worked into my profile and to friends. Not tried posts in forums or unknown users yet.
I do all chat etc from my cell phone only. I have no pc. Two points.
1 : can not send any photos to anyone since mid july!! I am sick of the blue smiley dh responce saying 'how odd reload browser or try again or contact us at dh ' Your contact email service is not mobile friendly. It asks to find guidelines. I am being sent in circles. No attention is given in all my posts of desperation.
2 : the photos i have emailed to dh photos to add to my profile still have not arrived. I am charged heavily to send pics to you on my cell. This is not good. Here in Spain facebook is overloaded and has a bad reputation. I do not intend joining and i am getting very frustrated.
Is dh purely a computer?
Until recently i've been a number one fan. Recomending lots of new hopeful 'daters' please attend my cry for help. PLEASE

#1) Make sure your flash player is up-dated.
#2) Make sure your DH cookies are not being blocked, or deleted.
#3) Bear in mind that sometimes people may send you something, and then be deleted by the site before you have a chance to read it.
(sometimes it takes a while for the site to notify you via your off site email.)
