Soooo, do you think all the Americans are glued to their televisions watching the Canadian Election?

Yup, even the Canadians aren't interested - lowest voter turnout in Canadian history!
Oh, well, I went with my adult children. Well, obviously, because the non-adult ones can't vote!
I got into trouble though. The lady manning the table at the entry said "Can I help you?" which I thought was an odd question. (if you knew me, you would know I see most everything through humourous eyes). So I said "a burger and fries to go". She said "What?" And I said "I would like to vote". So my kids were trying to suppress their smiles as this lady was frowning at me.
The rest went easy, except for when I burst out laughing at one point because of something my daughter said. Unfortunately, God saw fit to curse me with a loud laugh which can burst forth suddenly, often without warning.
At that point, all the serious faced, job for a day, voting employees looked up simultaneously to stare me down. Heck, I didn't care, I had cast my vote, so I held my head high and left that stuffed shirt arena.

Who won? No surprises of who'd win in the West. I think it will be a real shock to us all if/when any other party does win out here. Mind you, when so few show up to vote ( guilty as charged!) it could just just happen.... if only the ones voting for opposing candidates voted. We'd better all keep that in mind next time.
