I read all of them in just a couple of months. The only thing that slowed me down was not having the money to buy all of them at once, lol.

I absolutely love this series. I own the first ten, painstakingly collected one at a time. What are we up to now, fifteen I think?

Ranger is hot, but Joe Morelli is the one I always want Stephanie to end up with.

Lol, I keep going back and forth. I wanted Stephanie to end up with Morelli at first but the deeper I got into the series the more I started leaning towards Ranger. After the first few books her relationship with Morelli just seems to get a little stale but the chemistry with Ranger is still as strong as ever. Plus, I always tend to go for the "bad boy" types. At least when it comes to books and movies, lol.

I love the series and the next one will be out soon! I read the books first (mostly) then I go to the Library and get in the Audio CD form to listen to when I drive around. Never thought I'd enjoy Audio Books, but my sister told me to try it out, now I'm hooked. I even take them to work with me sometimmes, so I can listen to them while I work. You have to give it a try, though you may worry some other drivers when they see you laughing and you're all alone in the car

I love Janet Evonovitch and Stephanie Plum books!!! I have a friend who knows her and has adapted the screen persona of Vinnie Plum. I never think of him as "Gary" anymore--to me, He's Vinnie.

Keep those books coming, Janet!

LOL I love this series. She gets into more trouble with men that I can imagine myself doing, but hey...maybe it could happen. It's sure great to laugh about.

My best friends mom actually got us into this series when they first came out, and I have to say...we fell completely in love with them. Her and I see ourselves in Stephanie and Lula...mostly because im always losing cars, and we're always getting in some kind of pickle like they are haha...

We even want to see what its like to be actual bounty hunters...but we both have a feeling that we'd be just as bad at it as Stephanie and Lula haha...

These are books that definitely have to be ripped out of your hands in order to put them down...

And I'm rootin for Morelli. Ranger's not in the right state of mind to be in a relationship...Morelli loves her, even though he seriously hates her job haha

For me, reading Janet's Plum series is like eating comfort food. When I haven't read anything in the series for awhile, I start to crave it.

I would love to see "made for tv movies" made based on her Stephanie Plum books. Course, they'd have to be 2 parter-movies (per book) in order to do the series justice. But I'd watch every single one. Sometimes (I'm so weird) I'll be watching another movie and think to myself "ooh, she'd make a GREAT Stephanie Plum" or "omg, that's Ranger!" and of course... "yummy, he's Joe Morelli in the flesh"

Like I said.. I'd watch every one and keep the tapes of them.

Love the number books. I have all of them and keep track of who borrows them. I even have the Plum between-the-numbers books (Plum Spooky, Plum Lucky, etc.) but I don't care that much for her Metro Girl books or her romances.

The characters in the (so far)number 1-15 series are hilarious. It's hard to say who's a favorite character when there are so many to choose from, Stephanie, Lula, Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's parents, Joe and Ranger (hot flash), Sally, Connie and Vinnie, all fun characters.

If you like JE, you might also like Jennifer Crusie's books.

Wouldn't Estelle Getty have played a good Grandma Mazur? Every time I read a SP book I think about that!

And "Bear" there's not a darned thing wrong with your choice of reading material...just shows that you have very good taste!

Yes, I've read a few of them and found them to be funny and the characters unforgettable. I've read a fair number of books in the mystery genre, which is what this series would best fit into, in my opinion.

I have always called them "comedic mysteries". I also like the "culinary mysteries" by Diane Mott Davidson and JoAnn Fluke. Very entertaining!

Woo hoo -- Sizzling Sixteen will be available in June 2010.

01/01/10
Just wondering if and when there will be an excerpt from sizzlin sixteen?

We should be posting the first half of Chapter One on the website in March. -- Alex

Will Janet keep writing the "in between the numbers" series and the new series featuring Diesel?

Not sure what 2011 will hold, but there are no current plans for a Between-the-Numbers book in 2010. -- Alex

I do! I've been drinking that series up for some time now and get all impatient while I'm waiting for the next book to arrive. I get tickled that the author is from the tri-state area and includes a lot of regional references-- like the all-important Tasty Kakes!

I've also started reading Evanovich's new series on the Seven Deadly Sins beginning with Wicked Appetite. It builds on one of the relatively small characters from the Plum Series.
