Jerew, sometimes when we have things that weed out prospective friends, it can be good. The great people in my life look past the superficial things and accept me for who I am.
Lots of luck to you. May God bless you with lots of friends and with the perfect one to love and be loved by.

Personality seems to be very important no matter what. I have a friend that lost both legs in the great Southeast Asia War Games in Vietnam. He worked as a bouncer at a bar (no joke!) and as a Wal-Mart Greeter and other jobs. In spite of his disabilities he is very active, engaging, intelligent, witty, and fun. Very popular guy with lots of friends; he also seemed to do well with the ladies, I say "seemed to" because he would never "kiss and tell". Great guy, great attitude, no matter what!

I think that your chair wouldnt be a problem for me. I think that if you are a good man then you being in a wheelchair wouldnt be something that should hinder you dating anyone. I think that also you being in a wheelchair wouldnt stop you from being a player either lol. It might even help.

I have to agree with the one that said how many guys would date an overweight women. I like guys I don't care if their in a wheelchair it matters whats inside to me and well I have a few frees that have dated guys in wheelchairs and said that they where good in bed lol so see it don't matter as long as you are accepting of it yourself gurls fall for guys that show them they mean something to them if I was to fall in love with a black guy tommrow I wouldn't care what people say because no matter what color, sex, or disibility the person is who they are and you can't help who you fall for.

It doesnt matter if ur n a wheel chair or not its whats on the inside that counts and if ppl cant accept u just because u have a disability then they need to look around them because NO ONE is perfect....Women have stretch marks some r big and have tiny boobs and some lost their boobs due to cancer...so as long as u accept urself then EVERYONE should accept u to

all these answers sound great but how many of you have actually dated someone with a handicap cuz honestly you dont know till you do it. If we all really felt like it didnt matter then why do they have to tell us about it before we meet. sry but people all wont to seem nice but we are vain and sometimes shallow. and normally im not a mean person but if we were all that nice of people then the ? would not have to be asked

Hey man... Had friend up in Sanger Texas "Jim"- (quadriplegic) ... When he was at TWU in Denton ... he all ways had drop dead fox with him. I came close to proposing to a paraplegic woman... (still wish I had have)... Up to the point of her insisting on a 4 carat marquis diamond (minimum)... Love is Love There are no boundary's.

I would if he is what I am looking for. As is personality, attitude, caring & etc. To me it doesn't matter if he is in a wheelchair or not. Its how you feel about each other. People's looks change over time and any of use could have an accident & end up in a whel chair at anytime. If you love someone, you love them for who they are.

One man I date is not always confined to his wheelchair, yet. I didn't realize he had one and uses it whenever he has to walk more than a few feet, until our 2nd date, when he wanted to go to the zoo. He pushed himself so fast I had trouble keeping up with him. Come to find out he races the thing, got run over in it a time or two, and is just about the best lover I've ever seen. We're close friends and one of the things I love about him is when we get together we sew (together). His granny was a tailor and taught him as a young kid and he loves those times, too. I think what's more important is that you enjoy what time you have together and each other's company.
