Thank you for alerting us. Cyberspace is still very new to law enforcement and most laws don't apply. There is a law against stalking, but I doubt in includes harassing someone online. Threats however are a different story. Has he got any money? Sue the jerk. I'm sure a lawyer could find a personal injury issue, even if it's emotional. Good luck, and thanks again.

These scam artist change their profiles about every week or so.. Usually with new fake picture... the dumb thing is... they usually dont change their stories.. they stick pretty much to the same thing... and usually hit you up for yahoo ID. Unfortunately they are on all dating sites. Tagged is loaded with them.

So what is he (and the rest of these kinds of guys) doing that you say is stalking. Sending you countless emails? Is he threatening you? Did he find out where you live and sending you stuff, driving by all at all hours? Do not want to sound dumb but how do you stalk on blog forms? If a girl does not want to talk to me, I say "oh well" and move on. Now if I said that I was this or that and played with her mind then dumped her then I would be a jerk. I am finding this hard to understand mainly because I do not think like they do. If you don't mind helping me understand.

Hey, HRPuffinstuff forgot to mention that she had the guy come to her apartment and was wearing a sexy night gown that came off in the first 10 minutes and she was ALL over the guy.. If she is that EASY and DESPERATE, it is hard to believe this guy is stalking her.. Sounds to me like she was pretty easy and wanted the attention but when the lights came on brightly, he saw how old and wore out she looked and said GOOD BYE and now she is pissed off because he is probably the ONLY guy to show her ANY attention ever, but it was a mercy f...k and now she is mad. She should not blame this poor guy, it sounds like her life was HELL long before he ever came around... GET A LIFE..and WEIGHT WATCHERS, wouldn't hurt either...

My mom has dealt with guys like this all the time. You run into alot of nut jobs on here.
the only thing that the cops will do is do a report. My advice is invest in a keylogger and scare the shit out of him. That what i have always done. i would get on my moms screen name send then a pic with a exe hidden in it. then i would get every site person and everyone he talks to. Then i would mess with him and scare them bad enough where they would leave you alone. Trust me works like a charm

Sorry bout your bad experience hrp....but it kind of reminds me of the 90 year old woman who goes to the Police Station to tell of a rape....after hours of graphic detail of what the man did to her....what he said to her...how he did and said what he did...how he looked...how he smelled...what he sounded like....graphically and in vivid detail answered the reporting officers questions....he finally asked..."now did this just happen"? to which the old gal replied...."heavens no....this happened 50 years ago"
"Fifty years ago" says the officer...."and your just now reporting it????"

Nice to see you posted your confession of illegal activity on an open forum, you do realize that you did confess to a criminal act and did so in writing? If you want to advise someone to take certain actions which are criminal you really should send them an e-mail directly, though it isn't totally secure, it is more secure then posting on an open forum. Anyway software keyloggers are easily detected nowadays and are seldom used except by inexperienced persons acting against computer illiterate people. Hiding information in a pic is called steganography and is used to conceal data and isn't a real effective trojan horse medium as media isn't executed the same as you would find a standard program. The average computer literate person knows that photographic media has a different extension other then .exe and most security software will catch such an attempt to alter the "carrying container" and warn of the possibility of the trojan horse being present before it is ever executed.

Anyway to the OP, stalkers need to be reported to the appropriate authorities and if the authorities are unable to actually do anything because of lack of evidence you can always hire a private investigator to obtain more information that will strengthen your case against him and then utilize the services of a lawyer, also private investigators are licensed to perform personal protection (bodyguard) services, I have a business acquaintance I could refer you to if you choose to go that route. If that is too expensive, as a few others have suggested just delete and block.
