Fanatica, I hope you are feeling better. The people on Bama Chat are the greatest. They really helped me stay positive while I was going thru radiation and chemo treatments for cancer.

Fanatica....I hope you are having a better day! There are some wonderful people here that truely become friends. We may not see them everyday.. but always feel their prayers and well wishes.
Browneyz (Jane).. you are so sweet and you have been an inspiration to many here on the Alabama Chat, especially me. It is such great news that you are healing and doing better. That was our prayer and it was answered with a big "YES" from God. Thank you for being the kind of person that you are.

My "situation" hasn't changed much but my attitude sure has... That's enough to get me through it! I don't ever want to lose hope again and with friends like you, Hope continues to thrive within me.

Attitude is 99%. That plus a great deal of follow thru. My sister was having a lot of financial problems last year, her car just stopped on a rainy cold night and she was stuck. Single, no family around, no money, nada. (and no hope.) A man appeared out of no where, identified her problem (minor) went and purchased the part and installed it. He insisted she stay warm inside the car. Then he told her to start car, she did. She got out of the car to thank or pay him but he had vanished. She said she believed he was an angel. It was a deserted area with no houses and she did not see a car. She believed he was an angel. That was a turning point for her in her life. Now she has a job close to home that she loves, she was able to make enough money to pay the rent, buy some groceries, but most of all her faith was restored. Her attitude changed. P.S. Alabama chat had been praying for her.

The above story was told to me by my sister Nailz, a former member of Ala chat, I am sure many remember Nailz. She is doing great. Hopefully she will be back on line soon.
