I've read so many I've lost count. He is, by far, my favorite author. I read his books in a day because I can't put them down. I definitely recommend his novels.

damned good author, though I prefer Dean Koontz. I've read a few, enjoy his writing style but, not as many as I would like. If memory serves Body Rides was by him, strange concept, great book.

I've read all of his books. The beast house series was my favorite.

I've read at least 4 Laymon book and they were all crap. I don't think he's very talented. He's ideas majorly such and they is always some kind of perversion in all his works.

Oh yes! yes! yes! I have probably 14 or 15 of his books and would love to get my paws on his books from the 80's. I used to be a stephen kinger before I discovered the awesomeness which is Richard Laymon. R.I.P
The first book I read was Body Rides and been hooked ever since =D

I can't believe there is a thread about laymon. Island was the first of his books that I read. I was hooked. I dont like the books that have been published after his death. From what I understand, his widow and a ghost writer have peiced together his notes to his unfinished novels. I admire that they are trying to finish his work but it isnt the same. He was unique. An original.
