This topic would be interesting and fun, and spooky, lol. In truth, there is documentation and widely-known stories about sitings of a dead girl's apparition at a local cemetary where I live (northern Utah). Apparently this adolescent girl was struck and killed by a car, and if one is to flash your car lights on her grave (at night) she reportedly appears in 'spirit' form or as an orb, and may approach your car. It is illegal to access this cemetary after dark, and I don't wish to encourage any illegal activity. It may be possible however to contact the proper authorities and have access granted. Now that would be an interesting date!

You are not the only ones who want a group for this.
In fact, there's another thread in the form of a poll here that a number of people have voted "yes" on. (check it out and be sure to vote please.)
Meanwhile---there's the "ghost" thread in "General Discussion", which is already 829 posts strong.
It would probably be stronger except I mistakenly hampered it with my choice of title...and a lot of people probably don't realize it isn't limited to just "ghosts".
Any type of paranormal discussion is more than welcome there.
We allow both pro and con posting...but trolling and/or abusive language towards other posters is not tolerated for long.
If we can get enough people posting in "the ghost thread", and enough votes on the poll, perhaps the site will realize the interest in such a group and provide us with one.

I have found we all have ghost that are in our mind and that walk around us. But most people fear them and wouldn't take the time to learn what they have to show us or teach us I would like to hear from people that can face their ghost and what they have learn from them. My are teaching me how to write poetry and feel what I write.
Be open and learn from them. They are not out to hurt any one.

For anybody who is interested in these topics, but doesn't want to wait until whatever decision is made about starting a specific forum for it, the following thread is a great place to share experiences, opinions, ideas, and/or ask questions. It's not strictly limited only to ghosts and hauntings, so I'm sure the OP would welcome any contributions of that sort of nature, also including UFOs, psychic experiences and the like.
