I am willing to teach a man how to cook. I did it with my ex. But it is necessary for a man to know how to cook to some degree. I will not always be able to cook every day. And sometimes it is nice to get a break from cooking.

I'm a meat n' potatoes cook. I cook a lot at one time. Usually have 45 -60 meals in my freezer. I'm making about 30 pieces of chicken breast tomorrow.
Finding out most women in my age range don't cook anymore ?

I am what I am, And I like that man.
I am waiting for you my Love. The one who will walk by my side. Not judging or being judged, Loving and being Loved.
You who will make my beautiful world, as bright as the sun and as peaceful as the shining stars.
You who will stop with me and smell the roses, and dance with joy, just for the sake of dancing. Who will share their tears and laughter, anger and frustration, you who will love me for my faults, and in spite of them.
This message is for you my dear. So until you get this, know that I love you. And I have loved you since before time began. I wait here for you, patiently....

(I'm always looking, but not actively seeking.)

Nice job there....Cooking TWOgether is the best way dontcha think? I think guys really make the best breakfasts, besides their usual grill thing. Love having my guy make breakfast and wake up to the smell of coffee brewing and bacon and eggs, and a kiss on the cheek....oh well nice dream anyway < sigh >

"Are you a good cook?"

Hell no. I make mac & cheese and frozen pizza. Does that count?

Actually, I tend to eat a lot of plain, raw fruit and veggies, simply because it's so easy to prepare. Just wash and eat! Haha

Hell yeah I'm a good cook. While I was with the ex I was the only one that cooked at all. I was with her for ten years and she NEVER cooked a meal at all!! I did all the cooking, all the cleaning, all the laundry, etc. I love to cook and absolutely love to grill. I don't bake much but I can do it. I know I can make a woman happy because she already knows she doesn't have to cook everyday. Hell we may even argue on who will cook dinner.

As a boy growing up on a Tennessee farm, my Mom made sure that I and my brothers knew how to cook. My ex knew how to make a meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and could fry bacon and eggs real good. Other than that, she was a flop in the kitchen. I always tried to cook a good dinner meal at least four or five times a week. The rest of the time it was tuna sandwiches except for the rare occasions when she would do the meatloaf thing.

Yes, I think so. My last girlfriend loved the meals I cooked for her. Every Wednesday she would come over and I made something new, although she loved my fettuccine, so I made that often. I've made chicken marsala from scratch, and another one that was fantastic was my scallops in wine/butter/garlic sauce. My daughter loves my steak, eggs, and my fish, which I make in a variety of flavors and seasonings. YUMMY! Now I'm hungry!

I enjoy cooking. Meat & potatoes meals. Just made 6 lbs of roast with potatoes, carrots, frozen veggies. Got 10 meals out of it. If ur going to take the time to prepare it, energy $$$'s to make it- make a lot & freeze it. Probably have 50 meals in my freezer.
Any women hungry ?

According to those who have dared eat my cooking, I'm a GREAT cook. As I told the last woman I dated, this gut ain't from beer, it's 50 years of home cooking.

Unfortunately, I learned to cook for groups of 8 to 10, so dialing down the amount of food is difficult so there's almost always leftovers in the fridge and freezer.

I've got a few things posted over in the foodies forum- with pics of the yummies like bread, chicken parmigiana, Cardiac Burgers...

I can cook mainly because I didn't get married until I was in my 30s. Much of it might be considered "bachelor chow." I have come up with some creations (let's see, we have some of this, and some of that, what would happen...) that became family favoites. Some did not. I began baking when my daughters started eating such things as raisin bread for breakfast. There was almost no flavor and hardly any substance to it so I tried making muffins and banana bread etc. Now I have my own recipes for muffins and running out is not acceptable. I also figured out a way to make quickbread cinnamon rolls which became too popular--they were gaining too much weight.

Used to be, not much sense in cooking for just one, except on the occasion that I cook at home...for the dog. Now I am passing all my cooking expertise (?) to my daughter.
Am planning on Thanksgiving dinner at my house this year, though...now where is that roaster? Oh, yea, at my daughters.

I'd respectfully disagree. I have one brother and no sisters, and our mom was not the best cook (she burned water). We both learned how to cook from my father- he worked as a chef in a couple of restaurants; and from my grandfather who owned & ran a luncheonette.

It's one of the best "dating survival" skills to learn- Getting to the heart via the stomach doesn't only work on men.
