Anybody have any ideas for outings in the Whitefish area? I could use all I can get. I will be there for about a week starting tomorrow and I have a small child, so kid activities are a must! Thank you in advance!!!!

A must, especially if you have a child, would be to ride up Big Mountain! You can pay once, and sit on that thing and ride all day! Great food at the top(expensive, though!) And after you get to the top, you can hike up there, or can hike on the easy Danny On trail down. Definately my top recommendation for you. Make sure you eat at least once(preferrably lunch) at the Bulldog saloon. Best food in town, imho. Have fun.

Bulldog is good and I know most of the people there and they are nice but if your looking for a good burger you should go to the great northern. Their food is really good and they have pool and ping pong and games for the little one. There is also the kiddie park and the bowling alley and the theater. There are alot of things to do in the fish. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask. I know this town like the back of my hand
