First I dont think there is a PERFECT anybody. But I would like a woman who truely loves me for me, not for what I can do for her. Most women say they are independent but most not even close. The perfect woman would be a true partner. Someone who works along side you. One who is forgiving when I screw up. Yeah I not perfect either.

Op - I was totally serious. It just wasn't what you wanted. You wanted a laundry list of: wasit size, bust size, hair color, eye color, musical tastes, fashion tastes, etc, that you could conform yourself to in order to woo some hot guy. We guys don't work like that. Most of the guys here suggested that beer, and tits, are their main concerns. They were joking...and serious. The more beer they get into them, the smaller, and saggier, the tits can be. As I have often said elsewhere, I am more about personality than shapes, sizes, ages, etc. Part of the ideal personality is her being horny, and being able to enjoy giving me head. Other aspects of the ideal personality would have to do with her having some compatible tastes, and interests...but genuine tastes, and interests. I'd want a woman who REALLY enjoyed some of the same music, etc, I do...NOT one who merely CLAIMED to enjoy it.

Basically, with most guys, if you give them enough sex, and recreation, without too much b*tching, or bullshit, they can love you no matter what your age, size, shape, hair color, etc. Some guys are hyper competitive, and so always need to have more gals, prettier gals, etc, than the next guy. Such guys won't stay with you no matter how hot, compatible, etc, you may be. Other guys-raised by single women, mostly-are fixated on looks. They demand the prettiest face, slimmest waist, etc, and won't consider less. Look to Hollywood for guidelines. The more you look like Angelina Jolie, JLo, etc, the better your chances of getting such shallow guys...if you are shallow enough to want them.

I'm not shallow enough to have a laundry list of features a woman must have to be acceptable. I can be attracted to: tall, short, thin, fat, young, old, caucasian, hispanic, black, asian, blonde, brunette, etc...as well as most things in between (middle aged, salt & pepper hair, mixed race, etc). A compatible personality-including a compatible sex drive-is all that is desired, and even then there is room for leeway. I don't love country music, but don't hate it, so I could be happy with either someone who loved it, someone who hated it, or someone who could take or leave it. I'm eclectic and flexible. My previous post here, on this topic, suggested as much in a shorter format. Now I have used a medium form to explain. I could go into a long format, and detail everyhone of my tastes, interests, etc, but that is not what forums are for.

No one is perfect, so looking for the perfect woman, or man, is idiotic. Basically compatible is what I seek.

Nothing against your thread OP, however, it is a loaded question.

Knowing how a persons words can become distorted and/or criticized (especially on a topic as this)...I would think most would stay away from it.

Most men on here will never be honest with you!!

Your mistake asking them anything!

You have to ask your self what you have to offer a man, and only go after guys acceptable to you, f**k them, they want it all with nothing to offer in return.

ps. I totally sound like a man hater........Not!......I have tons of awesome friends on here and everywhere that are male, just had to shop around to find worthy people.

You expected academic explorations of a serious nature?

Perhaps the problem is the venue in which you posited the question.

The epic fail is not in the respondents; it is in the source of the inquiry.

What I was getting at was looks should only be important if you look as good as you want her to be!

And no, you and your mirror cant decide together that you're hot shit, it takes more then that!

FYI: This comment isnt directly pointed towards you chillaszmofo , I kinda used you for your quote......Thanks!

Now now, dear.( How 1960 was THAT?) dont get so worked up, please. The real problem here is that unlike women, we really DONT know what we want. Sometimes we know what we THINK we want, but that almost ALWAYS turns out not to be really true. And we also have VERY different tastes, more different than you think. We DONT all think Lady Gaga or Paris Hilton are sexy, okay?

Also, I can tell you nthat I have learned that women often dont BELIEVE us. I havwe told MANY women that the movie "The Truth About Cats and Dogs" did NOT work for me, because I thought Garafalo was WAY cuter than Uma (twizzler) Thurman. Know what most women say?

" Yeah, SUUUUURE! We KNOW that ALL you men want SKINNY women most!" Um, NO. In fact, MOST the men i have asked prefer a woman who would be considered FAR too overweight to model. We just dont get turned on by skeletons with hair. And we DONT want btons of make-up, and we DONT consider "the girl next door" an insult.

Sorry, but it just ISNT an easy question to answer. Girls grow up with WAAAAAAY more imput on what they "should" want a guy to be like. Cute, strong, successful, blah blah blah.

In high school, if a guy's freinds crack on his woman, its go time. If a GIRL'S freinds call her boyfreind a loser, most times she DUMPS him.

My point is, when a man meets the perfect woman, NO ONE ON EARTH is more suprised by who it is than HE is! We only know the perfect woman in RETROSPECT.

I doubt there is an answer to this... I know I like school teachers, tall (5-6"+) and slender with C or smaller breasts. However there is no way for me to spell out the particulars on personality and I am not overly picky on looks or age.

It seems that the answers of the males thus far reflect what is known from research on attraction and mating. That males cannot express what they look for in a female partner is not surprising. Mate selection is rooted in the limbic brain (primitive brain) where in a male assesses a potential partner's health and likelihood of producing healthy offspring. Such assessments occur very quickly and without any effort on the part of the male. It is unconscious and immediate.

Women also assess in the same way along with an added assessment for security and protection of both she and her offspring. The preferred mating partner has strong and healthy genetic features and more importantly, is likely to stay around to protect and provide for she and her offspring.

Beyond the initial assessments, how partners attach enters into the process along with individual character traits, behavior, etc.

The question of why many pair-bonds are not successfully mated for life enters and a number of variables emerge. A significant variable is the one that someone identified in suggesting the OP was looking for particular behavioral and personality traits to which she could conform. While I don't believe this is true of the OP. It is a problem for both male s and females.

Rather than present their authentic selves, they present a somewhat socially acceptable facade until they have learned enough about the potential love interest to present a reflection of what they say they want in a mate. In order to be accepted and to achieve what they desire physically, they reflect what the other desires rather than drop the facade and present their authentic selves (warts and all).

Interestingly, as this dance culminates in a wedding and the "I dos" are exchanged, followed by being pronounced as husband and wife, a colleague and I believe that these people revert to their authentic selves as they turn to face the witnesses and our introduced by the officiant.

During the honey moon or shortly after, the authentic selves are revealed and each wonders who is this person and why did they change? The answer is simple, they didn't change, they simply dropped their masks and now you see the real person because "they've got you now". In a sense, they own you as the marriage license is, in a sense, a deed of ownership and appears to have a psychological effect antecedent to dropping the false selves presented to "get the guy/girl".

It's a tougher act as one matures due to experience and fewer older males and females tend to reveal more of their authentic selves when they want something deeper than a sexual encounter. Those who are simply looking to get laid will likely reflect the type of person that the other indicates that they desire in a mate. This works both ways and is not only typical of one gender.

With the exception of the information on attraction and the biological drives and activities of the limbic brain, these observations are anecdotal (meaning without scientific data supporting the conclusions). As a relationships professional, myself and other colleagues have frequently observed these dynamics in couples and the process of partnering.

My recommendations to both genders is to present your authentic selves from the beginning; truth in advertising as it were. By doing so, both individuals know what they are buying and are not subject to the "bait and switch" that seems so prevalent in relationships.

Good luck and best wishes to you in your search.

L

The woman that would be the one for me: honest, sense of humor, open-minded, spiritual, good morals, has goals, responsible, doesn't do illegal drugs, no current or unresolved legal issues (no felonies), is single, divorced, or widowed (sorry seperated is not okay), patient, enjoys small crowds, sexual and sensual, honest, accepts that I have faults/flaws I bring with me, isn't wanting to make me into someone else, willing to grow older and wiser with me into our twilight years.

Quote from 1960pa:
So your saying its best just to be ourselves from the get go .Oh great advice Dr. Phil now can you take that advice and live by it yourself.

I don't see Dr. Phil and frankly, he is neither licensed or qualified to be handing out relationship advice. His area of expertise is industrial psychology, not relationship counseling. At present, he is an entertainer.

If you are referring to me, then yes, it is best to be yourselves from the beginning. Unless you prefer the bait and switch. As for myself, I live it daily.

Regards,

L.

My perfect woman would be thin but not flat chested, long hair and pretty to even have my attention. Then to keep my interest she would need to be caring, loving and very sensual. She would also need to share the same interests as I do. Or, we would only be back out there looking again.

I couldn’t believe it was her. It was like a dream. But there she was, just as I remembered her. That delicately beautiful face. And a body that could melt a cheese sandwich from across the room.
And breasts that seemed to say… ‘Hey! Look at these!’ She was the kind of woman who made you want to drop to your knees and thank God you were a man! She reminded me of my mother, all right. No doubt about it.

Why look for a perfect woman? Perfection is overated and boring. besides I am far from perfect.

Further, I only look for one whom I can count on. That has'nt happend. so even that standard has proven too demanding. BUT I would rather be alone than wast time and effort on tose i find unreliable.

i dont want perfect i want a loving and kind harted person. looks are important dont get me wronge i was with a girl because of her morals but the steam left fast we are still realy good friends but the breakup crushed her so not trying that one again a cute face is a main one as long as the chest aint completely flat where good. longer hair the better

see looks dont matter to me. the perfect guy to me is a guy who is a loving, caring, and funny. a guy who will like me for me and who wont want to change me into something else. im a tomboy and im proud of that. the perfect guy should be in a relationship because they truly like the girl they are with and not just because they want sex. guys who only think about sex are pigs.

P.S this is not towards you just saying.
P.S.S you are cute! lol
