To truly love, a love that is unselfish, natural, flowing freely. These polar signs are designed to exchange and compliment in complete prosperity. This is why connection to certain people seem so natural. This is not to say specific signs who are not polar to one another can’t be compatible. It all depends on spiritual maturity and achieved spiritual goal with in each persons life.Using myself as an example, the spiritual goal for an Aries is to learn to love unselfishly. Aries often is misrepresented due to the fact that the Ruling planet for Aries is Mars, and of course Mars was the god of war. This does not mean Aries people are war mongrels, bullheaded, ruthless ect. Think of a game of chess. Civilized, sophisticated, tactical and critical thinking skills must be applied to play a game of chess. To be observant with a keen mind allows one to keep the upper hand on the game. But it is the strategic multitask thinking skills that gives way to vision on the board to know your moves as well as predict your opponents moves that wins the game. To succeed in a chess game one must see the whole board at its present state as well as the possible outcomes…this is how an Aries thinks…they see the big picture. It is for this reason Aries most commonly reach their goals. The driving force is not greed or power but progress, usually oriented to mental and emotional health. Aries are fantastic workers, they are pioneering in nearly all they do. When Alexander led his combined Macedonian and Greek army across the Dardanelles and into Asia he began the greatest career of military conquest in world history. In eleven short years he overcame the might of the Persian Empire and campaigned across the face of most of the known world. It was not achieved by mere courage. Sometimes Alexander the Great’s brilliance as a general is questioned. Such criticism is usually focused on his conduct of battles. However, that is not the most important point. Simply getting a functioning army all the way from Macedonia to India, and back to Babylon, is the most extraordinary feat. Hannibal's invasion of Italy, his destruction of the Roman Armies sent against him, the mighty clash at Cannae and the Fabian strategy that denied the Carthaginians the full fruits of their victory can be considered in the same light. Dismiss the aggressive “war mind” thinking and consider the brilliance of “strategy thinking” . Strategic thinking is merely, seeing the big picture, thinking ahead, considering the possible success along with possible failures and then coming to a decision in which the outcome progressive and productive for the future. The design of an Aries is to get the job done. Have you ever watched a ram at work in clearing a path. They are full of endurance, tenacity and their animal behavior actually displays strategic thinking when making a way. Aries clear the path giving way to easy passage. Their minds are often “how can I “ They are achievers, they lead the way and often use their tender heart to escort others thru safe passage. So for an Aries to learn to think unselfishly usually comes very early in life and is something they rather enjoy. Each Aries I have talked to shares similar basic learned lessons in comparison to my story. Understanding the goal that needs to be attained early on in a Childs life better prepares them for their future relations with all aspects of the world. When I was a child I grew up with two sets of grandparents and a great grandmother. Along with my parents, all were a truly amazing wonderful family, the treasure of knowing them and learning from all of them is something to be passed on. While this love impacted my life it is was Grandma Petersen and my Grandpa “Pete” that taught me everything of unselfish love by the way they lived each day. I learned because the gift unconditional love was passed on at a very early age. It was always present in my life because of them. I will however add that when Aries has been extracted by manipulation there is no more left to give. It is my firm belief that if everyone put others before themselves, giving would rule and sorrow would retreat, after all…sorrow is nothing more than old joy. We forgive, but we learn and never forget to apply what we have learned. I was also able to have the wisdom and insight even as a small child to see the conditional love that was present on the other side of my family. In my adult life, I have endured a great many hardships. When trust is lost we become vulnerable. It shows and we can become the victim of emotional vampires who can drain the life right out of a person. Because I learned unselfishness from my extraordinarily patient grandfather and grandmother I was able to be humble for many years. A point came in my life in which I could not put myself through the feeding any longer. While I was not armed with garlic and holy water I was armed with courage, strategic thinking skills and unselfish love for not only my children, now try to understand this…unselfish love for myself. Not an oxy moron at all. A victim often feels helpless and self pity can sink into various areas of their lives. To love yourself in such a way that your trust is placed elsewhere, in my case God! Trust like I have never known before brought me peace I had never known before. I love God before myself, trusted him and thus loved myself unselfishly. The many wisdoms of love I was taught by word , the example set before me and most importantly how I, myself was loved by them has been probably one of the, if not the most valued aspect of my being. The earlier you learn what your spiritual goal is and achieve it with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul the sooner your life falls into place in ways that blessings pour out like never before. The spiritual goal for Aries is to love unselfishly. To love unselfishly is blessings that pour down like a waterfall and if you were to stand under it with a bucket it certainly would not take long for it to fill and overflow…so to take your bucket and cascade those blessing onto someone else passes on the unselfish love.
