EUROPE:
This spring , summer and/or fall. I have been wanting to go to Europe for several years, but just have not gotten around to it. Now I have a free air line trip and wish to spend a minimum of 3 weeks and possibly up to three months covering as much of Europe as I can. Travel can be from the southern part, like Spain to the northern part like Germany and Poland. TRAVEL WILL BE INDEPENDENT, backpacking style; staying mostly in Bed & breakfasts and hostels and using trains, buses or possibly car rental where appropriate. Trying to get to know some local people rather than just having a whirl wind tour and just traveling with mostly Americans.. Doing research now of what to see and do, so my plans are very flexible. ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME?

My first trip to Europe was in 1977. I hitchhiked around England, Scotland, Ireland, Denmark and Germany. I was over there almost 3 months. While there I learned about the Eurail Pass so when I went back in 79 I had a 60 day Eurail Pass to use. Sure was convienent. Did that several more times before I started renting a car.
Stayed at Youth Hostels in England, Ireland, Denmark and Germany the first couple of trips.
