Hi. Im here searching for other people who have the same interest of losing weight. I myself need to lose alot of weight. I have gone to the doctors and they all tell me that im fine. Im healthy but im fat and i need to lose most if not all my weight. Now im a strong guy and most of my muscle is under my fat. So im looking for others that i can add as a friend and message back and fourth about different work outs and just have that person there to push me and keep me on track. I lost 95 pounds so far, did it all with diet. Too lazy to excercise really. You can do it too.
Just eat less calories than you burn. The calories you do eat have to be nutritous, in other words, no junk food. Cut down the carbs and eliminate sugar.
Get the weight off now, it will make the rest of your life that much better.

I have found you really don't need to exercise to loose weight, you don't even need to go on a diet. All you need to do is when shopping for food, ask yourself one question before putting that item of grocery in your basket.
Did God make it or did man make it. Foods made by man have the most harmful ingredients in them that keep us fat.
Eating fish and poultry as your meat source and fruits and vegetables will do the trick.
No fried foods and stay away from the big potatoes
Keep grapes and other fruits available for when your sweet tooth kicks in.
Start looking on the back of items you want to purchase to see what's what.
When I first got started I chose something I knew was bad as a starting point
just so I would know how large the carb, sugar, cholesterol, trans fat etc levels were
Now I purchase items that are as close to zero as I can usually find products from 1-4
of the bad stuff.
Did you know that are suggested intake of cholesterol is 300 mg a day and one egg has 210?
I can go on and on here but you get the picture, all that stuff we love is bad for us and don't let anybody tell you it's all about moderation because you need to make a life style change in order for your body to heal.
One more thing white flour white rice white pasta are the enemy, stay away.

I second that. If it has more than 5 ingredients and I can't easily pronounce them it doesnt go in my shopping basket. Shop the perimeter!

Nah it's not what you eat, it's how you much you eat when you eat it. First man, you gotta keep a consistant dieting routine. 4 to 5 small meals a day spaced roughly 2 hours apart from eachother will jack your metabolism and help you lose weight fast.
Never EVER eat right before bed, it sticks to you and builds on your lower abdominals which creates muffin tops and are extremely hard to shred. Eat whatever you want man, help yourself to the chips but don't eat the whole bag, buy some healthy snack foods like vegies and replace your soda with juice. You could eat chocolate or cake or whatever you want but balance it with healthier alternatives and always remember moderation.
Next, yeah you'll lose weight with a diet like that, fast, but you will never gain any tone or muscle unless you excersize. It's amazing how fast a gut turns into a 6 pack when you suck it up and do the sit ups every day. Ya really can't get abs any other way man. Remember man, you're 20, your body will adapt fast, and you don't need to be as hardcore about it as older people do. Take a day off over the week, it's cool, just make up for it the next day.

I started going for walks 2yrs ago with my mom. I gave up since I didnt have the motivation to do it. She did because of her cholestrol. The doctor told her it was high and by going on medication it would bribg it down. She opted not to do that and instead changed her diet and started going for walks. Within 10 months she lost 50lbs and has kept it off. Granted she lost it too quick. I started back with walking last month and have lost 12lbs and dropped a pants size. Hearing words of encouragement helps too. I tell myself I did it once I can do it again. Good luck and keep us posted.

I like weight watchers online. takes time to get used to recording everything you eat but it really helps. Self awareness of what you shove in your mouth goes a long way.
