Lucifer's hammer was an awesome book. I think I was expecting a bit more from it...perhaps in the form of a sequel but if you haven't read it yet I shouldn't talk much about it. Everything up until the comet hit was boring to me though.
Have you read "It Came from a Buick 8"? That was a fun Stephen King book I read some years ago. What other genres interest you?

Have you read "It Came from a Buick 8"? That was a fun Stephen King book I read some years ago. What other genres interest you?
Another haunted car book ? Have to check it out the book Christine far surpassed the movie .A friend of mine owned a haunted car seriously .It was a cadillac allegedly owned by a deceased made man in Chicago .Occasionally and I heard the noises .You would hear groans knocks and thumps from the trunk .He didnt mind it creeped me the frack out .

If u like the apocalypse scenario.there is a book called swan song by Robert mcammon(very sure on the title,not 100% on the author)really enjoyed it.

I'm not a male, but I wanted to respond anyway. From A Buick 8 was disappointing to me. As a dedicated King fan, it left something to be desired for me compared to his earlier masterpieces. I did feel that he "got his mojo back" with Lisey's Story and Duma Key. Now his son, Joe Hill, is published and reminds me a lot of early King.

I'm one of the few people in the world that isn't a huge King fan except for a couple of his books, The Stand and Gunslinger Series. I really enjoy Maz Brooks' post apocalyptic zombie books.
Since I'm looking for some new books to read I'll have to check out lucifers hammer

you have the author right. he also wrote a wonderful book about werewolves infiltrating the nazi regime. he's got a helluvan imagination.
