I use soap that smells of pine trees. Cologne i have several but still pretty much stick with drakar noir

On my woman i dig fire and ice or vanilla fields... or if she's trying to turn me on she to can wear pine... nothing does it for me like the smell of a forest

Quote from lanabritt:
My grandma used to make soap,
she would mix oatmeal in, herbs, oils, etc...
...the skin was always so soft and silky,
there was NOTHING artificial in her soaps.
She passed away in September...

I tried to make soap but I do something wrong
because my soap "sweats" sometimes...

All natural--it's downright scary the number of really dangerous chemicals they put into health and beauty items--in *all* of them--some of them neurotoxins, some know to alter DNA.

Soft and silky: soap manufacturers remove the naturally occuring glycerin from their soaps to sell separately. Good for the bottom line, bad for the skin.

...which is the likely reason why your soaps are sweating. I didn't think anywhere had much more humidity than my Ohio River Valley, but high heat/humidity will cause the glycerin in soap to draw moisture from the air and sweat, which can make them turn rancid. Just put them in your oven with just the pilot light (or just the oven light if you have no pilot) for a few days, then put them in an airtight container.

I hope you didn't throw them away, soaps that sweat usually mean high quality (once they're dried out).

(grin)
You said "soaper". I know what *you* do! CP? HP? All Things Scented? I'm the latter one, tho' I mostly prefer the edible scents--vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, etc. Peppermint floor, laundry and dish soap (and hair products)

I love Brambleberry. Wellington Fragrance gets a bad rep, and I don't know why, but I love them, too. They have some knock off designer fragrance oils that are dead on, at least the ones I've tried (not for soaps, but for body powders, perfume glaces and body butters); they have a Georgia Peach reed diffuser oil that is to die for.

Both companies send free samples every time (brambleberry's dark rich chocolate..mmmmmmm), and both (as well as the soap dish over in trollop's and tea's state) send hand written "thank you"s on the invoice...all are very fast.

I'm developing a real and permanent lust for Beanilla. I have 1/2 pound of vanilla beans on the way, and they were only $35...as opposed to the $9 I spent for two beans at walmart a few months ago. Cut some up in some jojoba oil and let it steep in a dark cabinet for a couple months...MMMMMMMM

If a fella smelled like my chocolate cinnamon or my chocolate coffee soaps, I might have to eat him
