I have a business making and selling candles and stained glass artwork which holds most of my attention these days. I spent the last 15yrs in traditional professional jobs (recently in the mortgage industry until I was laid off a couple of times) before deciding to go for this. I'm testing out the old "find something you love to do and make it pay" concept. I've always been artistically fascinated and I love to actually create things rather than just doing a job because I have to.
My interests range across most subjects, there is something to be learned from anything you do. I'm a freak for movies, music, sci-fi and history books. I've traveled a good deal outside the US and when I can afford it again, I have many places I'd like to go.
I have two pets that live with me, Piper the dog and Angus the Cat. Some of us have children, some of us have pets. Please understand though, I'm not one of those people that treats pets like children and dresses them up.
What I'd like to find here isn't that complicated. A girlfriend. Classic one-on-one relationship, I don't have the time or patience to go out with 3 women at once or whatever and I'm old enough to be past real interest in one night stands. I believe that relationships are organic things that you can't really force into one direction or another. All you can do is get to know someone and see where it naturally goes.
I'm a lot of fun to hand out with, I've always have stories to tell and my eccentric point of view means no one who hangs with me is ever going to be bored.
