My husband suddenly left me for another woman only 3 months ago. I am still in shock, but as a very strong and hard-working person am going through it all. What else can i do? Just have to live through it and close that chapter of my life.
I am a professional visual artist, a dreamer, very sensitive, love art, theater, food, cooking, languages, teaching. I am not that kind of a person who bikes every day and goes to the gym. I don't drive. I am originally from Russia, Moscow, came to America as a political refugee 19 years ago, so in a way I am multicultural, because I was not a kid, but not really an adult when I came to America. I speak with a Russian accent, but write poetry in English (or Russian) and read books in both languages. I am from a Jewish family, but the one from the Soviet Union with a tragic past and not many religious habits.
I have lived in Minneapolis only for 8 years and moved here because of my ex-husband's job. I often have ideas to move back East, but a few things that I gained here are hard to loose.
I am allergic to cats, rats and dust.
I am a painter and work in the studio all the time when I don't teach, write cook, watch a movie or buy used art books.
I prefer man who photographs dead fish on the beach to those who fish, but will understand somebody who does both  Talking about fishing... I guess my favorite part will be cooking and eating the fish at the dinner table.
Honestly, I may not be ready for anything serious right now, but I am lonely and need new people in my life. That last sentence describes me the best - I never hide anything, just because I really can't pretend.
