Are there really no guys out there? I've received many emails previously but no follow ups. They seem interested and then just disappear. No one is really interested in taking the next step. I hate that I'm resorting to this sort of thing, but with my busy schedule and being a single Mom I don't really have any other options.
I'm caring, honest, I'm a tom boy at heart but do have a girly side. I would like to meet someone and see where things go.
I'm 25 I live in Columbus. I'm a single Mom of two wonderful boys. I'm not looking for a Dad because they have a Dad but liking kids is huge. I'm not interested in introducing them to anyone at this particular time.
I work full time, I make decent money, I have my own place with just my children and I. I have my own vehicle, I only depend on me.
Family is huge for me, I'm very close to mine. I love movies, music, fall weather, camping, snow, Christmas time animals and so much more. I'm really excited the Holiday Season is finally here, I absolutely love it.
I'm very down to earth and kind of shy at first but I do have the ability to warm up. I'm strong and I stand up for myself. I apologize when I'm wrong and won't rub it in your face if I'm right.
I love to laugh and sense of humor is huge for me. I love football especially my Buckeyes.
What I'm looking for in a guy: I ask that you have your own job and at least your own place. Room mates are fine but please not with your parents. Please have most of your teeth in tact and have your own vehicle. Personal hygiene is huge for me so I ask that it be for you as well. Being respectful is a must, wanting to be a thug and starting fights everywhere you go is not attractive.
You would be a non smoker or someone that doesn't smoke like a chimney. You will be trustworthy and funny. Down to earth. Not mooching off of family and friends. You should have goals and ambitions. Partying is not attractive.
Please do not be a partier, if that's all you do and you don't know how to function without a bar in front of you, please do not respond. Also please do not be under the age of 25 as I am not looking to meet someone who is barely out of high school. Along the same lines if you're over 35, I have no interest in meeting you or talking to you. I'm sorry but it's just not going to do it for me. Please be "somewhat" attractive, I've had emails and pics of guys and I was just floored. I'm not saying that you need to be drop dead sexy but please, at least look like you take care of yourself.
I had to grow up at an early age and maturity is of huge importance to me. You must like kids, if you're threatened by the fact that I have them, that is what that "x" in the upper right hand corner is for. Like I said no one will be introduced to them but still, please be mature, I really need to emphasize this.
If you have a girlfriend and are looking for a quickie or a way out, I'm not your girl. If you dropped out of school in the 6th grade, please do us both a favor and don't respond. It might sound picky but really what I'm looking for is someone who knows what they want, who is independent, who works for what they have and has a sense of humor and values their life.
If this sounds remotely like you, then I think we'll get along just fine. Also please do not be over the age of 40. If you're older than my parents that creeps me out a little. And please please please be somewhat attractive. It might sound picky but there has to be an attraction of some sort.
