Hi my name's Christine. I graduated from nursing school last May 2012, and finally got hired to work as an RN in the PICU. I love working with kids, so I'm happy and grateful that I get to start in pediatrics as a new grad.
I like staying positive and I can get along with just about anyone. As far as hobbies, I like to play the piano and come up with my own songs, draw Disney characters, play ping pong, texas holdem', volleyball, basketball, throw a football around, play videogames (especially Mario Kart, so if you're up for the challenge...it's on! haha), go to the movies, restaurants, comedy clubs, and hang out with my family and friends. Theme parks, especially Disneyland and Magic Mountain, are always a plus
My first job was working at Chuck E. Cheese's.....and yes I did dress up and do the birthday dance.....but mostly hosted the birthday parties (the tips were great, too). Then I worked as an after-school childcare counselor with grades K-6th for 8 years. Recently (before being hired as an RN), I was a substitute teacher for jr. high/high schools and a substitute health aid for preschool children with special needs.
As for who I'd like to meet, I'd like to meet someone who is kind, intelligent, trustworthy, family-oriented, and funny. Hopefully, I'll meet that person soon
